Hello! I hope your week has treated you well. Mine was very busy and I did not get to much writing as I would have liked. I want to apologize because I do know I owe you! You should have it no later than Monday evening. I want to express my deepest apologies as I know I said I would have it to you by early this week. I promise that the story has not grown stale in my muse or heart, so I hope we can continue writing together!
I do have a discord where if I am not on the site, I use it there to communicate with writing partners. Let me know if you are interested in that option so we can muse in between posts. 🐉
It was relaxing indeed! I hope yours was doubly wonderful and that you got all the rest you need. Alas! We are at Monday once again. Let us pray it treats us well. x)
Oh it was great! I didn't get to much writing last weekend but I hope to have a reply to you by tomorrow evening, if that works? Love love love what we're doing.
Alas! The weekend is here. I, too, am grateful for its coming. This week felt long and trying. I think we are in the same boat. I am so overwhelmed.
Yay! I love to hear that. You gave me a great inspiration, that's for sure. Take your time, Eagle Prince and make sure to enjoy your rest this weekend!
Ah, no! I do wish you luck with that. Work has been quite annoying this week for me too so I totally get it. I hope the weekend treats you well though.
I finally got around to writing the your reply. I swear starters are the hardest but gets easier as the story flows. Forgive me if the length isn't quite there yet.
I anticipated having it to you by now but was also pulled in five directions for work, heh. But I am working on it tonight and hope to have it to you between tonight and tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.
I mean as long as you love it then I do too! I think your profile gives more than enough information, I mean look at mine. :p But of course, I understand the need to want to update. Looking forward to reading!
That is a splendid idea! I was so surprised to wake up and see your starter. I am going to read shortly and begin working on it. I should have a reply to you by tomorrow evening but who knows it might be earlier. c;
Thank you, I am excited to explore those nuances of my fiery dragon queen! I read your profile and really love what you are doing with Leon. I am a sucker of original characters and it is not lost on me how hard it is to build so I am looking forward to learning more through writing.
Oh, I will do the same as I am writing. Meereen is such a fun place to pick at stories, I am glad you chose that time and setting! Off to read your starter now hehe.
I really love a perfect mix between the book and tv Daenerys. So I think I should forewarn that I dabble between the two with my own twist that does not deviate too far from George's vision. Otherwise, I would say she is book canon-divergent...if that makes any sense. I believe Meereen is a good start because she is just really coming into ruling, and trying to grasp at the straws on how to do it. During that time of her life she is faced with much and perhaps this is what brews a minor distrust between this stranger from the North (Leon). I think maybe I will have her think that it is another attempt on her life for she has no allies in the North (yet)...and Leon asking for her aid is suspicious. Due to the nature of this time period, she will also have enemies from around Meereen...perhaps this makes Daenerys doubly vexed by Leon's coming. Tyrion will be fun to NPC-write as well, I think I'll let the story speak to how he feels about the new Northern stranger.
Tomorrow or whenever the muse bug bites you is fine with me!
Oh you must absolutely watch. I rewatched the entire season yesterday and ended up grabbing the book that inspired it. It is really great storytelling. But I am also with you in rewatching the show. I think I have a few Meereenish episodes to brush up on in prep for a reply. c;
You bring up a good point about Jorah! I think that will be a fine thing to explore as the story blossoms. Also, I am here for any swordsman that can match Ser Selmy — in another setting that would be a perfect tourney event. Ha! This sounds like a wonderful beginning to something special!
Meereen is a perfect start. And I don't think on my end I have much to discuss, but if any questions arise I will message you! Otherwise, I will put all the energy into writing. Thank you for offering to intiate the beginnings! I am so excited about this! Looking forward to your starter but no rush, of course. 🐉
I understand, but I thank you for sending anyway. It is my wish to write with those who love the lore as much as I do, so this is a real treat. Thank you for extending the invitation before me! I hope I can make up for it.
The Boltons are no ally of House Targaryen. I think this is a fine idea. She certainly needs the aid if she is to clash arms with a strong house like the Lannisters. As cunning as they are though, they are not too knowledgeable nor fond of the North. Perhaps, the two could use this to their advantage to further Daenerys' claim? Or try to at the least. I think you are right. There is much that the story can tell of itself!
// I'll return a full comment in due time I just wanted to say thank you for being understanding of my situation. Once I have the mind space to come up with ideas we can discuss more then.
