Well put nothing past Lyra. she IS a master thief. She has lived 170 year to hone her skill. ITs one of the reasons she one of four leaders of the embermantle. Maybe the governing body of the city hires you. Being a thief and well skilled. They could send you into the city to try and find out info about who runs the embermantle and important locations owned by the embermantle. By chance you come to "The Enchated Coin" which is Lyra's Personal Tavern asking questions to guests and lyra herself. Seeing no one knows Lyra is one of the members. Then you make a mistake and Lyra finds out and captures you.
Well seeing as my character is in authoritve position in.. well I guess you can call it a faction more then a guild now. She one of four leaders of the Embermantle faction. Faction of a thief's guild merging with a mercenary guild. So yes she is very much give more of a dominant nature. However even one her status and rank can have her secerts side to discover if the situation happens.
