Bio:Xiamara was a special kind of dragon. She had the ability to heal in both her dragon form and human form. She couldn't remember where she came from or where her family was but she knew that she needed to keep going so she wandered and wandered for days maybe even weeks. While walking on a dirt path the child tripped and couldn't find the strength to get up, finally she wouldn't need to wander anymore so she patiently waited for death.
That same day a older dragon had been in her human form walking the path. She had just lost her husband not long ago so she often walked the path that he and her had met on. Today was different however, there was a small girl laying in the road, she had short light pink hair that looked almost white with a bit of blue-green in her bangs, she wore a brown tattered dress and her feet were bare. "Excuse me.." the woman said as she kneeled down by the girl. Duel colored eyes looked back at the woman for a moment before closing again.
Picking up the girl the dragon took her back to her home and laid her in the guest room that she had. Nursing the child back to health the woman stayed by her side for six days until she finally had enough strength to sit up. The girl looked confused as she looked around the small room.
"Well good morning Sunshine." The dragon said as she handed the girl a cup of water. "My name is Thera Drachen. I found you collapsed in the middle of the road."
The girl stared at the water, hesitating to take it. When she did the girl sniffed it before taking a small sip. "T-t-thank y-you..." The girl said in nothing louder than a whisper.
"Child you will need to speak up. I am not as young as I used to be and I am almost completely deaf in one ear." Thera pulled a chair up next to the bed and sat down. "I'm sure your family is worried sick about you. Where did you come from?"
Shaking her head the girl stared blankly into the cup. "I have no family. No one is looking for me and no one cares about me. I was meant to wander the world alone til death comes for me."
Thera was surprised at the girls words. She was only a child and yet she spoke as if she's lived eons. "Do you have a name?"
Shaking her head the girl felt embarrassed that she couldn't even give this kind woman a name to call her.
"Xiamara Drachen will be your name." Thera touched the girl's head softly and gave her a kind smile. "You are welcome to stay here as long as you help me around the house."
"Xiamara? You would welcome a stranger into your home and even bless them with a name?" The girl looked confused. She couldn't understand why this woman offered her kindness but in all reality Xiamara had nothing to offer her in return.
"My husband past before he and I could experience the joy of having a child. If it was a girl he wished to name her Xiamara." Getting up from the chair Thera would walk over to the table across the room and grab a picture in a frame that sat on a coffee table. "Today I was missing him dearly. I walked the path that was his favorite and there I found you." A tear rolled down the woman's face as she looked at Xiamara and smiled softly. "I won't force you to stay child but know that there is a home for you waiting with open arms."
Xiamara couldn't explain it but she had the want to stay here. She knew her healing hands couldn't heal the wounds this woman had but maybe her presence and company could. The girl was cautious for the first couple of weeks which was understandable. The child had been alone for heavens knew how long and she had been abandoned by whoever had been taking care of her before. But Thera didn't give up, she was determined to care for this child as if it was her own.
With time Thera had earned the girl's trust and to her luck she had discovered that Xiamara was a dragon. Beautiful emerald colored scales protected her large body and her duel colored eyes stood out while in her dragon form. Thera adored the girl in both forms and with time Xiamara adored Thera and from time to time referred to Thera as her mother.
When Xiamara was older Thera had convinced the elders to have Xiamara trained as a healer for the village so her talents wouldn't go to waste, such a rare power would be useful to their sick or injured. Being trained Xiamara had the chance to meet Blitz, Though it was for a brief moment when she was rushing to one of her lessons she had accidentally bumped into the slightly older male. When telling her mother about it she told Xiamara to stay away from the male, that all Blitz was was trouble and that he would only distract her from the training she was doing. Though she did listen to her mother Xiamara could help but steal a glance at him whenever she knew he was going to be near though as they grew older his presence became less and less.
By the time Xiamara was full grown she had just successfully finished her training as a healer though she knew she still had a lot to learn since her healing abilities were far greater than the healers that were here. She made her mother proud and she was content with how things were even though Thera kept trying to convince Xiamara to settle down and start making a family of her own but Xiamara had other plans. She had only had an interest in one male here and as far as she knew to him she didn't exist and even if she did she had been told to stay away from him.
Years past and what seemed to be out of the blue the Drachen clan was attacked. Xiamara remained by her mother's side while healing as many as she could. In the fight she felt completely useless, she hadn't been trained to fight so she had no idea what to do. Whenever she came across an injured fighter Xiamara would place her hand on them and to heal them but when it became to much she transformed into her dragon form, when she opened her mouth instead of the stereotypical fire that would come out of her mouth a mint green mist would pour from her mouth and wash over the injured Drachen clan members and heal them but this act took a lot out of the female forcing her to transform back.
The two females almost made it to the end but as they were making their way to check the next group of bodies one of the enemies had been stalking the two for sometime because he ran up behind Thera and attempted to rip her heart out but missed by a few centimeters. Falling blood began to pour from Threa's mouth and Xiamara would stand in disbelief. There was nothing she could do to stop what would come next.
Before the attacker could do anything else a raging wall of wind was between Xiamara and the attacker shortly after a small blue female came in using her wind to rip the male into pieces. All the small bluette did was glance at Xiamara with her glowing blue orbs. Xiamara knew that female, she had been the bride to Savitar the male dragon who had befriended her when they were children. She had attended their wedding not that long ago. Why was she by herself?
It all hit the healer at once. Had Sav fallen? With that thought she remembered her mother.
Rushing to her mother's side Xiamara attempted to heal her mother's wounds but Threa grabbed the healer's hand. "My dear this is one of the few wounds that not even you can heal." She said weakly.
Xiamara could feel her tears roll down her cheeks as her grip on her mother tightened. "N-no... you must let me try Mother... you can't go yet... what about the grandchildren you wanted? What about me?"
"Xia.. there is no where that I won't be with you.. I finally was blessed to watch you grow.. My wishes had been answered the day I found you and the day you accepted me as your mother.." Threa coughed up more blood and smiled as the light began to slowly fade from her eyes. "Xia listen to me... You need to find Blitz if he still lives.. he'll make sure your safe if you tell him who you are or who raised you.." After saying this the woman raised her hand up and whispered weakly. "Honey... You came for me..." Threa's hand fell and the light was gone from her eyes.
Xiamara held her mother in her arms and sobbed. "M-mother... please don't leave me..."
Before she could react Xiamara felt someone jerk her up and restrain her. The healer fought to be released and her streams echoed on the now empty battlefield but she was soon gagged and fully restrained by a group of men. Fighting the whole way Xiamara was taken away from her mother's body and was forced to go miles and miles away from her home.
When they finally came up onto the groups hideout Xiamara was stripped and was forced to wear chains on her wrists and ankles that were forged with in breaking magic and was customized so that when she transformed they would fit to suit her as a dragon.
For over one hundred years Xiamara was forced to stay in her dragon form so they could collect her mist so they could sell it. When she would transform before they gave her the okay she would receive lashes and would get her skin pricked by pokers that had been sitting in a fire all day and night. She had hardly gotten fed and hardly drank anything, it was a miracle that she was alive.
On one fateful day the doors to her hell had been opened and a familiar scent had poured in, Blitz. 'He.. found me...' Xiamara had went to her human form as she thought this. Her cheeks were sunken in, she was so thin that her bones could be seen, she looked exhausted and she was to weak to stand on her own two legs. The second Xiamara hit the ground is when everything went black for her.
