Raven Blackrose Character History
15th Century { Birth ~ Dark Ages : Chapter I. }
-- Raven Blackrose is born in the year 1500 as a result of Raven's Father who was a runaway slave who was afflicted with Vampirism from another Vampire of Moroi Lineage which was common amongst the European Settlers of that time and a Japanese woman of nobility who had found the skin of Africans to be exotic this too was another common fetish at the time. It is this unholy union that results of Raven's birth
-- During the year 1518, Raven's Father had died of mysterious circumstances and Raven's mother was forced to disavow any knowledge of him existing but still keeping him within her will, due to the Xenophobic nature of Japan at the time. Her parting gift however was a mysterious blade known as "The Sword Of The Asura." it is this Blade that had guided Raven across the lands which eventually lead him to Europe of that time right into the middle of The Dark Ages.
-- During the year 1530 - 1598. Raven had went from country to country training under various sword masters and doing tasks that the Kings of That time dare not do themselves. It was upon his last mission within Romania that he heard of a cursed suit of armor so powerful that even Satan himself forged a contract to have it sealed. Intrigued by this journey Raven sets out alone to what the villagers of the time called. "The City Of The Dead." Raven during this time had sustained himself by feeding off of the blood of his enemies. Immortality would not be his just yet.
-- During the year 1599. Raven had found the burial site of "The Sword and The Armor of Lucifer." Seeing first hand that both artifacts were weapons of unfathomable power if placed within the wrong hands. Raven takes it upon himself to forge a contract with the sword and the armor in general. The terms of such a contract were as the following.
He who wears "The Sword" and "The Armor of Lucifer" Beware for thou shall achieve Great Power but Thou shall also know great pain. For even if its bearer is immortal in nature. Even the most worthy of hosts shall fall victim to its undying wrath! Should ye seek penance from such a grave ordeal. Simply forge a pact that in exchange for a life time of servitude to you the bearer of this armor and blade. That you in return will be the sword and armors one true master. " ~ Lucifer
Once "The Sword" and "The Armor Of Lucifer" were retrieved. Raven had spent the remainder of the 15th Century trying to undo the curse that befallen such a powerful prize. Many visits to the various Arch Bishops upon the land were made and as a result. Raven was able to control the cursed armor but at the price of his complete and utter ownership of the devastating force in question. Every time he tried to pass the sword and armor to another it killed them on sight. Raven Blackrose had paid the price of obtaining ultimate power it would be his forever. The burden of protecting the world from such devastating power was his cross and his alone to bear.
16th Century { The Secrets Of Immortality ~ Feudal Era : Chapter II. }
-- During the year 1600 Raven Blackrose was confronted by a band of travelling monks it is these group of missionaries that inform him of his mothers untimely passing and his inheritance. { Blackrose Palace as The Next Emperor in line.} As a result Raven is urged to return from Europe to Japan once more during this pilgrimage. Raven is trained by them to use his power for good ends rather than destructive means. Upon completion of this training he was told that the name of their group having only seen them as mere travelling monks Raven now knows them as. "The Order Of The Thirteen." and that they'll be seeing him again.
-- Having fully reclaimed his ancestral home within the year 1625 Raven Blackrose begins to invite many foreign diplomats from around the world to his new home as a result. One of them brings books and knowledge about an artifact of immeasurable worth to Raven the artifact in question was known as. "The Crimson Stone." otherwise known as "The Philosophers Stone." Seeking to harness the power of "The Crimson Stone" Raven begins his studies within the field of Alchemy using the knowledge of books that both minds such as Edward Kelly and John Dee had left behind before they died. It is these forbidden tomes. that had allowed Raven to put his next phase of his master plan into motion. "Achieving Eternal Life."
-- During the year 1650 The Ritual which was needed for Raven to achieve Immortality had begun. Having gathered all of the necessary items into motion. Raven needed one thing in order for his plans to be complete and that was the souls of two powerful vampires in order to infuse them within. "The Philosophers Stone" and it was then that Raven had knew just who's soul he would use to make this dream a reality. Raven had then used The Dark Arts to absorb the souls of both Raven's father and the one who sired his father into The Philosophers Stone itself. Thus magnifying the stones power. In return Raven had absorbed all of the chaotic energies within himself. It would be then that Raven's Immorality would finally be achieved. His need for the thirst Negated and his life born a new this ritual however would have dire consequences.
-- Although it took ten years to fully harness his power of immortality during the year 1660 Raven Blackrose had began to notice that despite being immortal his overall appearance had made him de-age a few years in appearance going from the visage of a full blown adult in his 20's to about the presence of what would appear to be an eighteen year old. This was not the only price he paid upon this day as the need for the thirst was Negated due to "The Crimson Stone." Raven himelf however had began to notice that he could see the spirits of the dead both benevolent and malevolent. This along with the influx of several thousands years of Vampiric knowledge had nearly driven him insane. Due to this immense amount of foresight for the next 10 years Raven Blackrose had spent those years alone and devoid of anyone else trying to come to grips with his new eternal life.
