Lilium listened for a hint of a lie.Strangely there was no nervousness in his tone or tension in his posture.ย She leaned forward, invaded his personal space to take a subtle whiff.ย Any smell that could have given him away didnโt, but it was the pair of bright gorgeous green eyes that held her gaze intensely with a sincerity that had her convenience that Tiger spoke the truth. His honesty and transparency reminded her of a certaintaijutsu master who could not lie to save his life.ย
One would wonder why she would go to such lengths when there were jonin stationed at the borders of Konohagakureย and at it's gates. Lilium would not leave things to chance espeically if she were to introduce them to her Hokage, whom she was sworn to protect.ย
Her eyes bore into his until she was satisfied. โYou remind me of Gai,โ she thought to herself fondly, unable to hide the wide smile. Maito Gai was a special soul, a dear friend. He shined as bright as the sun. His optimism was contagious. โWell then Iโll hold you to that.โ She placed a gentle hand on Tigerโs broad shoulder. โLetโs get going.โ she patted him.
She had turned away and walked off. Her eyes fell to the bento in her hand and stole a glance at the male beside her. โHad he eaten yet?โ She was worried. Her omega picked at her senses before she conceded. With a huff she casually asked, โHaveย you eaten?โ Though she didnโt wait for a response. She jogged over to a nearby vendor. โFour of your finest Teriyaki skewers please.โ She placed a few ryo on the counter and took the brown bag given to her.
She walked over to and pulled a skewer out and nearly shoved it at Tiger. โEat.โ the way it was said, booked for no argument. โI know it's just a bite. But it should hold you off for a bit. โ here she stopped walked and narrowed her eyes to wait for him to take a bite. "Well?" she placed a hand on her hip.
Two years?Alone? โSurely you donโt travel alone do you?โ The man had said he was a traveler, but this had bothered Lilium to her core. She was a werewolf, a pack orientated animal. She could not imagine life by herself. Her wolf would certainly not allow it.ย โA rouge?โ here Lilium thought. โHeโs practically a stray-lone wolf.โ Here murmured the wolf at the corner of her mind. Her thoughts had become erratic as the wolf began to feel concerned.
As an omega Lilium often felt the need to mother hen others, her instincts demanded it on occasion. Her eyes looked down towards the bento. โDamn,โ she inwardly sighed. It was a blessing and a curse.ย
โSounds dangerous. Why have you decided not to settle? Surely other villages have opened their doors for you? Seeing as you might make a good shinobi.โ As a kunoichi she had to always be on her toes. Any bit of information would be crucial and important to report to her Hokage.ย
By now they had crossed into the village. She stopped to face him after several moments of silence and stared him dead in the eye. โWhy not stay in one of the many places and why come here? What do you desire from Konohagakure?โ
Lilium eyed the creature carefully. The male was muscular. It spoke of the volume of his dedication to his craft . She tapped the bottom of her lip taking consideration of his words. In doing so she hummed. โHe would be perfect for shinobi work.โ The girl was cunning. She preferred him to be under the direction or command of their village leader than the head of her clan. The bastard was too power hungry and she knew what this stranger may be reduced to should herย alpha catch wind of him.
โIโm afraid who you seek is my Hokage. I can take you. All I ask is for you to remain close.โ She looked to the sky to judge the time. It appeared to be almost noon. โI doubt Kakashi has already eaten.โ She pictured him surrounded by the constant flow of paperwork. Poor man had gone from season shinobi to office worker.
โGive me a moment.โ With a quick Shunshin, she snatched a blue bento box that had been left on the counter and reappeared a moment later in front of Tiger. โThe poor bastard probably hasnโt eaten yet.โ she explained with a chuckle. โCome come.โ She turned and walked away in the direction of the village.
They were on the outskirts and most likely would take a bit to get there on foot. She had no desire to rush today and instead wanted to get to know the stranger a bit more. โSo you're a traveler. Sounds like fun. How long have you been on the road?โ
Lilium had just returned from practice with team and sensei.ย She halted stunned at the large creature before her. Her green eyes studied him utterly fascinated by him. It was no scret that the village in the leaf, Konohagakure held strange,but dangerous things.ย
The kunoichi grinned with a hand on her hip and dipped her head respectfully. She would not bow her head unless if it was her alpha. Even if said Alpha was a bastard. "Pleasure to meet you Demone-san. You're new-?" if she could she would have facepalmed she would have "Did you come to meet Sensei? Perhaps my alpha?" her head tilted curious what brought him to her village especially outside her pack's compound.ย
