BIO: Ebony Kane Nox is one of the few to have direct relations with the specimen, Jenova, having travelled in on a comet into the system, unlike her sister, she was not the first to awaken, nor had she been killed off. Instead what remained of her entry was watched under the eyes of many for years upon years until finally, she was released. What was released was the spitting image of a child, with the discolourment of blue skin, and white hair. Those who watched her did not step in but instead watched as the humanoid female, adapted to mankind, changing both her skin colour, as well as her hair colour. It occurred over time that this child may not have held memory as to who or what she was. Thus leaving her as not a threat but still to be watched. In the city, she was an orphan, bounced around from house to house, and over time, learning how to defend herself. It was those who watched over her, and those her took her in on restless nights, were the ones that named her, Ebony Kane Nox.
It was eventually down the line did a Turk from Shinra Electic Power Company approach her asking if she’d like to try a program offside to the male version of SOLDIER, it was something that hadn’t been done before, and held risk. The reasoning behind this was to test and see how Ebony would behave to holding a stronger, unadapted strain of her sister’s blood. With Jenova cells being injected into her, they were pleased to see it worked, Ebony’s DNA held the capacity to withstand it, for the time being. She would still be held under close watch to assure nothing got out of hand. Upon joining this program, Ebony wasted no time in her training, she moved through whatever was given to her and moved through the three ranks offered, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st.

It wasn’t until years down the line did change began to occur in her body. Visions, a humming through her cells that made her know something was wrong. With her cells beginning to awaken in their raw form, causing issues with newly winged appendages from her body, Ebony took it upon herself to take leave of the company no matter what the risk of that may have been. She made sure to cover her tracks, and for a while, had disappeared off the radar completely. This didn’t go too well, as many scientists back at Shinra weren’t too pleased with losing both an experiment as well as the direct relative of Jenova.
Over time Ebony grew curious as to why this had happened to her and turned her attention back towards the Company who put injections into her in the first place. This, led Ebony to return, secretly to discover why these… visions and disturbing thoughts were constantly bothering her and forcing her into isolation.
The file she read overstated her not being a human, but a humanoid being. It continued to explain her relations with Jenova, her change in appearance was to live upon the planet only to further her knowledge of it, and those on it before her true awakening and destroy it as Jenova had once in the past. Continuing, it went on into talking about how they had always been watching her and using her as an experiment to try awakening her cells, which had in fact, been a success. But when having this experiment, known as a threat to the planet leave and disappear, was considered a failure.

GENERAL PERSONALITY: From time to time Ebony can come off as cocky, but most of the time she is known for seeing emotionless to those she isn’t familiar with. Her temper can be vicious, including to those she doesn’t like- often times Turks and well-known enemies. But there is also a softer side to her that can be revealed, she likes to lighten dark situations and can be shy from time to time. She is also known for being flirtation when she sees fit. Ebony is known for also being straight to the point.
BEFORE LEAVING: Ebony can be a rather kind soul to those once they get past her rough, outer exterior. She’s proven from time to time again to be rather playful, joking around and teasing those she is most comfortable with. For those she’s not too fond or familiar with, she still teases but more… sternly to say. All in all, Ebony is rather serious about her duties, and those who stand in the way will figure that out shortly after crossing her path.
AFTER LEAVING: Ebony’s attitude changed the most during this time of her life. During this time she completely isolated herself from those she cared for. It is in her mind she believes a majority of these people knew about what she was and said nothing. Everything seems like a lie as Ebony begins to mull over that she is a monster, and had been watched like one. Friendships built on lies- or so she thinks. She becomes more bitter, cruel, and willing to harm those around her if she is put under the wrong kind of pressure. During this time her cells are reforming into the structure they were once before. Because of this, she is left in constant pain, and lack of sleep due to the nightmares of destroying the planet she’s come to love.
AWAKENING OF CELLS: When Ebony’s calls have completely awoken her obsidian coloured hair returns to its original origin of colour, white, her eyes tend to glow more than usual with the hint of red behind it. Her personality and behaviour in these moments all depend on the situation, who she is with, and whether her mind is set on destroying or protecting.
