Senka is a young woman who loves adventure. She travels a lot and rarely stays in one place for very long. The places that she visits are often the result of a passing whim, the girl never really putting too much thought into the things she does or where she might end up. Her decisions seem to be heavily influenced by the booze that she drinks as she is almost always completely drunk. It is rare not to see Senka under the influence of alcohol. Her drunken state seems to be a large part of her outgoing personality and blunt way of speaking. Who she really is beyond that of a drunk fool is unknown, simply because she refuses to quit drinking. She usually waves off people's suggestions that she stop drinking with a smile or by changing the subject, despite the concerns and curiosities that others have towards her. Despite all of the booze she puts into her body, Senka's body seems to hold up incredibly well. Her health matches that of a normal young woman her age and there have been no signs of any ill effects from the large amount of booze she drinks. The secret of her health is much like her past; unknown. Senka claims to be living in the here and now and usually uses that as an excuse not to talk about her past. Nothing is known about who she is or where she comes from. She claims to be from Japan and her being fluent in Japanese supports that claim, but everything else about her seems to be a mystery. She just comes and goes, traveling from place to place with a curious excitement and a smile on her lips. Senka acts as her conscience directs her with little regard for what others expect of her. She makes her own way, but she's kind and benevolent. She believes in goodness and right, but has little use for laws and regulations. She hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. She follows her own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Senka loves to try new things and meet new people. Her favorite things are drinking booze, parties, good people, making love, competitions, and making friends. She is often too trusting and even more often she is some how misunderstanding a situation and jumping to some wild conclusions. She appears to be a complete idiot and there is very little that says otherwise, but her intentions are always good. Senka possesses a goodwill, is a bit of a moocher and is affectionate, candid, cheerful, friendly, generous, indulgent, lazy, oblivious, reliable, selfless, sincere, trusting, uncommitted, and vain. Yeah, definitely vain. **Spoilers Ahead!** If you don't wanna be spoiled about Senka then I suggest you ignore this part of the profile and find these things out for yourself during your interactions with Senka As those that meet Senka come to find out, she is not 100% human. She is half Human and half Oni. For those who don't know what an Oni is, an Oni is similar to an ogre or troll, usually hulking beasts with horned heads and sometimes often just described as being demons. They are known for their incredible strength, resiliency, and love of booze. In ancient folklore, Oni were known to challenge human travelers to some form of competition and should the Oni win they would devour the human. Today such hostility between Oni and humans has been nullified thanks to certain treaties and alliances. Most Oni live in one of the seven ancient city's that are buried beneath the Earth's crust around the world, though some can still be found on the surface. Many of Senka's traits come from her lineage and upbringing within one of the ancient cities. Thanks to the Oni blood flowing through her veins, Senka possess an immense amount of strength, rivaling even that of a full-blooded Oni. Even more, her body retains that same resiliency that Oni possess which is what allows her to drink so much without damaging her body. Her vanity came about from her human appearance being very different from all the Oni she grew up around. She was considered ugly for an Oni, but when Senka finally ventured to the surface she came to realize that she was considered cute and beautiful for a human and she loved it. Now she can't help but flaunt her appearance about to most of the people she meets. It might seem like she's constantly reminding others of her appearance, but she's really reminding herself. It might seem obvious that Senka's drinking habit stems from her Oni blood and having grown up around Oni who love to drink it would make sense, but... That isn't the only reason. Senka drinks a lot, even for an Oni, and the real reason behind her near constant drunkenness is a spoiler that even this spoiler section won't reveal. Senka's name may seem strange to those able to speak Japanese. Depending how it is written, the name Senka means “war.” Oni were once known for their ferocity in battle and used names that reflected said ferocity. Although today the Oni are much more peaceful, the names they possess still reflect the ferocious Oni that they have descended from, even Senka. So hey, I might be a little tipsy while writing this, but that's okay (it's a total mess because of it. Oops~). So the super spoilers are that, ummm... Okay so you know how there's political marriages n' stuff like that? So Senka's parents are married for that exact reason, only her father is the Oni King and her mother is one of the daughters of the Emperor of Japan. That's right, Senka is royalty in both the oni world and the human one. This arranged marriage brought about a peace between humans and oni so the constant warring would stop. To prove that she was dedicated to this plan of action, Senka's mother broke into Heaven itself and stole a heavenly artifact and presented it to the oni king as a gift along with her hand in marriage. You might recognize this gourd as the one Senka keeps with her everywhere she goes. Senka stole the gourd from the oni king (her father) before she fled the city she was born and raised in. She's running from the responsibility she has as royalty, not just as an oni, but even as a human. She always stays drunk in order to cleanse herself of the guilt she would feel from abandoning her responsibilities. She's actually pursued by three oni that work for her father with the task of returning her home, though they would never hurt her and treat her with the proper respect, they are insanely strong and aren't afraid to force her to return if it comes to that. This leads to the reason Senka is afraid of other oni. Senka is afraid of oni because she's worried that the random oni she runs into on the surface will recognize who she is, or even worse that they might be one of the oni her father sent to bring her home. Because of this, other oni make her nervous and only serve to remind her of the place and responsibilities she tried to run from. So yeah, this section has been brought to you by booze. Bonus: Because the emperor of Japan is a descendant of the Goddess Amaterasu, Senka isn't really half human half oni, she's more like 50% oni, 49% human, and 1% celestial.
