Phonon is one of the beings called In-Births, bitten by a Void and neither alive or dead. She primarily fights with a living snake-like creature called Muniel, which transforms into a whip. Her EXS (pronounced 'exist') is Baroque Noise, meaning she has control over soundwaves as energy. Though a frighteningly powerful warrior, she has a loose understanding of how the world works and considers herself the center of her universe. She is easily influenced by her consumption of media and often does thing she sees in movies that she perceives as cool. She has no particular interest in heroism and only fights to revel in her own power and look cool in front of others. Even Phonon is not her real name, merely the extent of her desire to make a clean break from her old life. She is haughty and bitchy on the surface, but fairly amicable and always feels like she is in control of the situation, and is somewhat outgoing as a result. Of the known In-Births, she is on friendly terms with Yuzuriha, Orie Ballardiae, and Erika Wagner. She is acquainted somewhat with Carmine Prime, Gordeau, and Hyde Kido. She fought and defeated Hilda the Paradox, but does not particularly consider her an enemy. She went to school with Nanase, but mostly considers her an annoying tag-along and is only her friend to humor her. She was briefly part of a group called EXS Force Guardians, or EFG. Even since leaving, she studies other In-Births to gain knowledge.
While in town, she had met a young man named Seto Tadaaki, who fell head over heels for her. Since then, the two have kicked off a whirlwind romance, culminating with Seto voluntarily agreeing to leave his old life behind and voluntarily become an In-Birth just as she had. Once lonely and bereft of much excitement, his life has taken an exciting turn with Phonon at his side. She eventually married him on his birthday, finally giving him the family he never had. She is the sister of Kagura Mutsuki, though it is unclear if they are blood related. OOC stuff: Total weeb and fighting game addict. Mainly play on PC or Switch. On-and-off schedule; I work a lot. Story-driven, love to introduce others to the wonderful world of UNI!
It was Valentine's Day, well, technically, it was midnight on February 13th, so it counted. Seto had cleaned himself up, made something special for his queen of the night and her weapon/pet Muniel. He came to her and wrapped his arms around her then kissed her cheek lovingly. "Happy Valentine's Day, my queen." He'd say lovingly as he presented a personalized pin that looked like the couple wearing crowns and night sky styled royal capes with Muniel being the heart around them. As for the gift for Muniel, he made a little magic ribbon to wear for the occasion with hearts that matched Phonon's color palette.ย
The young woman put her arm around Seto, holding him close and resting her head on his shoulder. She sighed blissfully, wordlessly as she simply took in the moment for a while. She caressed the pin in her palms for a moment, admiring such a sweet and thoughtful gift before fastening it onto her shirt. "Thank you, my lovely Seto. You've captured the aesthetic of the Hollow Night so perfectly... I love you.~" she'd say, pulling him close for a kiss. In return, she'd hand him what appeared to be a crystal heart on the end of a gold chain, in the same shade of green as her dyed hair. "It took me like five tries to make this... I'm not the greatest with a chisel." she'd say, noting a nearby pile of dust next to the tool that lay on her desk. "You can wear this to have a part of my soul with you no matter how far apart we are. Happy Valentine's Day, Seto. โฅ"

Seto snuck in behind his loving wife and picked her up bridal style. He gave her a quick spin and showered her in kisses. He then said lovingly, "Happy new year, my honeydew queen." He then said as he nuzzled her and gave her another kiss.ย
He laughed out loud from his wife's antics then laughed even harder when she and Muniel tickled him. He almost lost his breath from laughing so much; more than he ever has in his entire life even. He managed to place a hand on his wife's cheek gently and lovingly despite his laughing fit. "I love you so much."
//Oh it's okay, I completely understand, I also lost one of my best friends too; we've been friends since the 8th grade, he died ย before thanksgiving. I still have my journals; even bought a black and white one with several small white boxes for a design to write a story eventually with a character named after him. I'm sure he'd appreciate it.ย
He was completely surprised and slightly confused by the trail as he entered, that was until he saw his loving wife as beautiful as a Christmas present and being showered by her kisses and undying love. He smiled warmly and held her and Muniel close gently as he gave his lovely queen of a wife a kiss back and petted Muniel gently. "Heh, thanks, my girls," he'd say with a happy and grateful smile, "and I always love seeing my girls, I know you'd never forget about me, because I never forget about the girls who changed my life."
He had a plate of five homemade tacos for Phonon for Cinco De Mayo. "Feliz Cinco De Mayo, hermosa!" He said with a faux Spanish accent as he kissed his wife before handing her the plate of tacos. ย
Whaaaaat?! X'D no way! That's crazy, you should post the pic sometime! I write original stories like Seto afk. I learned from my old creative writing teacher back when I was in high school, "you can't force yourself to write for fun. Some days you don't wanna write and that's okay." As for my Q&A sessions, it was when I was in a practice college you could say, learning how most colleges function and stuff like dat.ย

Really?! I bet you had aย WONDERful time at your Wonder Con, and your game sounds like a lot of fun! I love games where you can customize your own character. And no whip weapons?! Bogus!!! Oh well, I bet Dean looks AWESOME! Don't worry about your absence, I've been keeping myself busy by writing afk, I'm planning to write my next story as soon as the one I'm working on is done, the main character's name is Charles "C.D."
