About me: Dahlia’s appearance is of a 5’6” woman, she appears to be young but her age is unknown. The most notable features of her appearance is her split colored body. Each side looks like a different person, on one side of her body she has pale skin, blonde hair and a blue eye while the other side, she simply has red skin, black hair and a red eye. Her ears are the same though, they both are pointy. And of course, you can’t forget about her sharp fangs. Her body is curvy with a few stretch marks along her legs, arms, thighs and butt. She also has scars around the areas of her joints from times that shapeshifting have gone wrong.
Dahlia is a mimic. Mimics are a vampire subspecies who tend to be feral. They are incapable of turning humans into vampires as mimics are the failed projects of pure bloods attempting to turn humans into vampires. These vampires are also built for luring in prey, they are agile with great strength. Mimics fight amongst each other for power and territory. As they age, their brains rot away and because of that, at any moment there’s a chance that they will just become a shell of who they were and lose their sentience. At that point they’re just feral animals that only follow their instincts. They get hunted down by any vampire, human and other species’ because this subspecies is just gonna attack everything they see. They also have moments where a switch randomly flips in their brain and their feral instincts kick in for a short period of time before retuning to normal, so you might see that with Dahlia.
The most notable Mimic ability is to shapeshift. In order to shapeshift, she needs to kill the subject in order to take their appearance. Plus the shifting is a bit of a painful experience as her body changes and shifting out is the same story, though it is very gory. Returning back to her regular form, she sheds her skin and allows her bones and everything else to return to normal. Like the name says she can mimic anything and everything within seconds, that includes other peoples abilities although her version will be weaker. Not only that but she can cast illusions, teleport, regenerate and is a quite talented telepath. She of course has the basic inhuman strength and senses. Using any ability mimicked or not, is also a painful experience. Usually giving migraines, nosebleeds and an aching body.
Though they’re made to blend in with humans, they cannot eat large amounts of human food. They have to consume raw meat, blood, flesh or any other protein since shapeshifting is a super demanding ability. Eating the normal amount of human food that humans usually eat, sickens them, But if they had taken the form of a human, then human food has no effect on them but it will not fill them up. Raw Fish is the best thing for mimics to eat around humans as it isn’t altered in any way and it’s still meat. Mimics are able to drink water without much consequence as long as it’s mixed with blood.
Because dahlia does not look too human, she casts an illusion all around her body for as long as she possibly can but eventually she will have to take breaks otherwise her power will give out and reveal what she truly looks like. Since half of her body looks like a human, she replicates that appearance onto the other side and hides her pointy ears.
Dahlia in her hunting form, has razor teeth that go through her cheeks and long claws that go through skin like butter. In her hunting form, her voice becomes raspier and she finds it more difficult to communicate. She clicks, screeches and makes other non-human sounds to communicate to others. If she attempts to speak, she must mimic the last words her last victim had said before their final moments. In this form, she is faster and has more endurance than her regular form. She also has a devastating bite force that can crush bones with ease.
