History
The Princess is temporary regent of a kingdom where she is forbidden from leaving by the combined powers of Marduk and Baldr. The power is such that even if the castle were destroyed, the princess would still be in the area, as it requires the death of one of the two gods to finally end. However the castle is still quite wild, capable of hosting hundreds of people. Given the main access is from a tower at the top through a series of underground tunnels, the princess rests at the very bottom in an elaborate bedroom of two stores, one having many of her dresses, while the bottom consists of her private chambers. Gold, silver and bronze line the fine silk of her blankets and clothes, although while there are ancient ones, the Princessโ vanity made her craft dresses with more modern sensibilities. As in, she would dress with the fanciest and most elaborate trend of high fashion, it would be extremely rare to see her wear jeans and a shirt.
The overall structure of the castle is spread across multiple floors and it is maze-like, with some doors made of metal that are so big and heavy only gods and the Princess herself can open them, although they do so casually. Notable chambers are the Throne room, placed just before the entrance of the tower, so she can properly greet strangers, and an ever growing library that contains every book ever written, new ones automatically materializing every time they are written.
While the Princess cannot step outside, the Castle is surrounded by three royal gardens that are immense in size, just one of them holding a mountainous chain, and each sporting several feral animals living, including some that have never seen man. However, despite this, such beasts instinctively fear the Princess (and rightfully so), so they do not dare to even come close to the castle.
As there is no sun or moon underground, there is very little dictating the passage of time in the Princessโ kingdom besides her whims and intuition.
POWERS
- Vampire Physiology: As an extraordinarily powerful Vrykolakas, the princess seems to have all the typical strengths of vampires without any weaknesses. She could live for millenia without drinking blood, craving it only because she missed the taste, and her powers hadnโt diminished in the slightest, she is immune to holy powers, is only slightly weakened by sunlight and her image is reflected in a mirror, although of all things this one is required some effort.
- Super Strength: As a vampire, the Princess is vastly beyond a normal human (and most inhuman ones), with some claiming only gods measure up to her. The Princess could casually move several ton heavy doors without any effort and, even with seven people together, they rightly didnโt feel like they could beat her. Even as a child, she could smash boulders apart with her bare fists. She was never pushed into combat, even against an โevil selfโ of hers.
- Housekeeping Skills: Surprisingly, the Princess knows how to reorder and keep the castle clean like a good housewife, to the point she taught her maid/adoptive daughter what she knew.
- Fighting Skills: The Princess used to be a classical Hero, fighting with either weapons (her favorite being a gigantic flail) and superhuman strength to overcome monsters and impossible oddsโฆ just to prove she could-
- Polyglot: The princess can speak and read many languages conjured by man (English, Italian, Ancient Caeltic, Latin and Arab being an example), including knowledge of dead languages (languages that arenโt spoken anymore) and extinct languages (that nobody remembers) .
- Magic: Ever since she was a child, the Princess was highly perceptive, capable of copying magic style after seeing them, enough to actually. She has shown several kinds of magic throughout the story, and these ones are casual displays. The Princes never used her full power, but believed she could fight and kill Gods if given the chance.
Weaknesses
The princess cannot directly leave the castle until either Marduk and/or Baldr will die in battle, although she can make part of her consciousness indirectly travel outside through heavy circumventions, although with next to none of her powers. Even the castle being destroyed would force her to live in the rubbles. In the future, she will successfully leave the castle to raise her son alongside her sisters.
