(EXPLORER) Starfall Bright was born in the village of Moon's Canvas on the night of their annual shooting star festival. He grew up being impressed and in wonder by the world around him and having a special appreciation for maps and books. His mother would tell him dozens of stories and legends that made him want nothing more than to leave his home to discover as much of the world as he could. To be a fearless explorer of the unknown, even if the boy was jumpy and quick to frighten. He did years of research and eventually was allowed to leave at the age of fifteen. However, while he is pretty smart and his art skills come in handy as he makes his own map of the world, he is not the strongest and relies a lot on people he meets for help.
Star is a skilled artist and has a keen eye for details but finds himself to be rather clumsy when it comes to actually avoiding traps and getting himself out of trouble. He does hold some want to be stronger if anything at least to be able to protect himself but has yet to find the right weapon for him. He also can often get lost in his discoveries, his excitement making it hard for him to focus. He can come off as simple as he was raised in a small county village and is always in awe of city life and its tendencies.
Star met his first real friend and ally in a small kitten he named Ashfall due to the smog and soot that covered her fur when they found each other in the remains of a battlefield he was crossing. Only later when cleaning her did he find the kitten was in fact a white cat. They decided to keep the name as a fun joke between the two.
(PIRATE) Starfall Bright is the acting pirate, Captain Bluestar after he ended up causing trouble with a real pirate and stealing a map he held. Now being hunted, Star decided to hide in plain sight since he also ended up stealing the pirate's ship. With a crew he works to gain the trust of, he hopes to find the location on the map and earn some money that would let him disappear before his enemies find him.
