She is well-known both in verse and amongst fans for her well-endowed body. Her main outfit is a red and white kunoichi dress (a traditional garb of her family's), with red tassels at the back, circular white ropes secured around her shoulders, and red and black shoes. Mai is also usually seen wielding a traditional white Kachō Sen, or "butterfly fan", as her primary weapon. Mai is a very cheerful and temperamental girl. She tends to also be somewhat of an airhead and admires any kind of beauty or attractiveness, which sometimes comes across as being vain. Although her peppy fighting persona suggests otherwise, Mai is actually a traditional and ideal Japanese beauty. However, her pride as a Shiranui ninja usually keeps her from fitting the mold 100% of the time. Despite her complex relationship, Mai has shown her support for the women's team and their notorious reputation for years and enjoys working with her teammates.

Now, if you don't know him, that's okay because I highly doubt he is as popular as Dante from Devil May Cry or whatever. Heh.  I am also a fan of Mai Shiranui, she's one of the coolest characters of King of Fighters in my opinion. Mar 10th 2023 - 9:44 AM Send Comment | Send Message | Block User A hail of bullets peppers the ground beneath his feet as he leaps into the air to avoid the gunfire, masterfully maneuvering his body with an assortment of stylish flips and tricks to dodge even the lightest of grazes. A devastating dive kick knocks one of the mechs to the ground, where Sonic proceeds to ride atop its chassis as if it were a skateboard, crashing through another six robots standing behind it. Mechanical limbs fly, oil splattering against the street followed by the combusting of the metal menaces. Surrounded on all sides, he has to think fast! A quick homing attack allows him to collide with one robot and rebound directly into another, pinballing himself repeatedly between the horde to cause as much mayhem as he can. The strategy works until one robot manages to deflect his attack, launching him into the air in a vulnerable state! Missile pods click into place, lock-on lasers ringing as they aim directly at his chest. For a brief moment, the gunfire had stopped--the world felt as if it were moving in slow motion. It was the calm before the storm, and boy would the storm hit hard. Multiple clusters of rockets all fire off at once, screaming toward him with the intent to put him out for good! 𝘜𝘕𝘋𝘌𝘍𝘌𝘈𝘛𝘈𝘉𝘓𝘌. Multiple speeding objects blitz the street all at once, shrouding the road with a trail of black smoke. They cut through the air with a whistle, unrelenting as they chase down their target, until... BOOOOM!!! A fiery light erupts from the ground, accompanied by a deafening rumble that could be felt for a mile. Was that... an explosion?! Debris rains from the sky, breaking the windows of buildings and cars and crashing into the ruined asphalt below. "That was a close one! Jeez, those missiles are a real pain!" The target that the explosives had been chasing quickly drifts around a corner, cutting through alleys at supersonic speeds before emerging at another road. But before he can pick a direction to run, he finds himself boxed in by swarms of robots dropping from the rooftops. With all exits blocked, he had little choice left but to put up a fight.  "I was kinda hoping we could do this outta the city, but since you're so insistent..." Emerald optics glance side to side as he sizes up his mechanical opponents. Humanoid in stature, but equipped with machinegun arms and shoulder-mounted missile launchers.
