I like that a lot. I have never played him as a youth, before everything went to ashes. There'd be a great significance in seeing how he was prior to his quest for vengeance, and likewise he would be surprised to know this sweet girl from a past he'd long cast away, was to be chosen by Deities they as-of-yet do not understand.ย

Ohh yes, a glance into the past? I think that would be perfect. Especially since they have so much in common. I can see him being the shadow to her light. Whereas she was chosen by Nymeia, he would follow a more warmongering path. Stormblood is canon for him, Sarluu would have made himself an instrumental fighter against the Empire, without always answering the summon...ย
As a youth, however, she would've met a different side of him. And I'm very excited to share this with you. ๐ย

Sarluu Tumet also hails from Othard. To make an epic brief, he failed the ritual initiation of his people, got lost & was adopted by a Doman village. One that would then be pillaged by Garleans; he held a particular grudge against Zenos, and dedicated years of hunting & training to hone the necessary skills to best him in combat.ย
His canon story ends with Endwalker, where he and Zenos would have their final battle, after which he seemingly disappeared... Only to come back, with the newfound goal to raise an Order of Echo-wielders.
