History:
Akio’s story starts out happily enough, just like any normal family, he had a very loving family. His father and mother loved him dearly. But unfortunately, when Akio turned 10, his happy days ended. A rogue vampire broke into the castle and attacked the royal family, Akio’s mother was killed and Akio was left on the brink of death. The vampire taunted Akio’s father, telling him to choose between whether to let Akio die or to condemn him to a fate like the vampire. Akio’s father couldn’t lose Akio, so he chose to turn Akio. Akio was saved but he was no longer human, he hated being a vampire, but he knew why his father did what he did. He loved his father still but he couldn’t help but resent his father slightly.
As the years went by, Akio grew accustomed to his new body. He starved himself, since he was scared of drinking blood. But he did do it every once in a while, needing to feed, but he pushes it as far back as he can.
Thanks to Akio’s new abilities that he gained as a vampire, he started to help in the army and taking on missions, that needed his strengths. He was talented but he didn’t really tell anyone who he was truthfully.
During this time, he hid himself as a royal, but he worked hard for his kingdom doing whatever he could to bring happiness and prosperity to it. He was thankful that his father was going to live a while, so he didn’t need to worry about political appearances. So, he handled the paperwork while his father dealt with people. He preferred it this way, until he could get everything under control. But he knows one day, he’ll need to ascend the throne.
