"Becoming a Heavenly Immortal is not something that any and every deity can accomplish...those who cannot abide by the rules of the Heavenly Realm are among those who do not deserve such an accomplishment and its reward..."

"I have spent 8,000 years cultivating in order to reach this point. My progress will not be lost due to unnecessary human emotions.." Mirai can be described as a young divine being of the Heavenly Realm. She is loved and adored by her divine mother, and she served as the Head of the Palace while she cultivated her abilities, overseeing the palace maids and ensuring that the needs of the Supreme Majesty and his court were always met. She is devoted to the Heavenly Realm, and does her all to contribute to maintaining its peace. She is extremely close to her mother, who was worshipped as a Goddess of peace and prosperity during her time in the Mortal Realm. It is now her time to endure the 800 Heavenly Tribulations (which can also be referred to as Samsara) in the Mortal Realm in order to transcend from a minor divine deity to a Heavenly Immortal like highly admired mother.

As a baby, her Divine mother gave her the name "Mirai" with the hopes that she could bring about great change to the Heavenly Realm in the future, as she felt the rules of the Heavenly realm were strict and cruel. . However, these feelings would be kept secret from everyone in the Heavenly Realm and Mirai herself, as should Mirai begin to rebel against the rules of the Heavenly Realm and attempt to change them, it would a decision made of her own free will.

Mirai.Mirai (æœªæ¥ or æœªä¾†) in Korean, Chinese, as well as Japanese means "future", . and in its Welsh/Hindi origin, it means "miracle".

Mirai is a divine being from the heavens. For thousands of years she has worked hard on her cultivation and has served the Supreme Majesty of heaven and his court well, abiding by the rules. The heavenly realm is much different from the mortal realm. In the heavenly realm there is no pain and suffering, but there is also no joy. Falling in love is forbidden, as is sexual acts for any means other than to create another divine being. Sex for pleasure is prohibited, and even feeling arousal is forbidden. . This was the only way of life that Mirai had ever known. That however would soon change.

When she reached the peak of her cultivation, it became time for her to descend to the mortal realm for the 800 Trials. The trials are meant for divine beings to endure 800 or more kinds of pain and suffering, trails and tribulations for them to refine their immortal souls.. Should they endure these trials while still abiding by the laws of the Heavenly Realm, they are rewarded with an immortal status and high ranking.. If they fail, they are banished to the mortal realm and forced to live as a human until they die and are reincarnated to attempt the Heavenly Tribulations all over again (thus falling into Samsara).

During her 800 Trials. Mirai is forced to endure human emotions that she has never before experienced, Lboth good and bad emotions are something she must not only endurebut she must transcend them. She must not fall prey to human emotions. It is important, however, for her to understand human emotions.. While traversing the difficulties of comprehending human emotions, she must also be on the look out and protect herself from demons, and all sorts of creatures an beings roam freely in the Mortal realm, disguising themselves as humans while committing many wicked deeds.. Will she be able to resist falling into the depravity that human emotions can bring?. Will she return from her trials successful, and change the future of the Heavenly Realm as her mother wishes, or will she fail and remain banished to the mortal realm until the cycle of her next life begins?
