Born into the wealthy bloodline of Sol, Derrien lived a rather flourished lifestyle, akin to royalty, without all the rules. He was rather adventurous in his youth, with a charisma that could swoon any heart and manners made of gold. This combination often got him into and out of troublesome situations. During these years, he spent his life in thirds. Spying on the Knights of the Kingdom; training to one day join their ranks, mingling with lovers in the night and exchanging completed quests for money. His life was nothing short of rich luxury.After his induction into the Empyreal Knights, Derrien displayed a idiosyncratic specialty amongst the others. Between hand to hand combat, spear mastery, elemental control and overall tested statistics, he became a one man army. Respectfully, yet swiftly he climbed the ranks and at last, was dubbed the Semper Ardens Knight. Leading the Nation to a promising future of prosperity alongside his men.
Three years following his knighthood, Derrien was sent with a handful of men to subdue a large village, under the assumption of rumored rebellion. However ulterior motive, bestowed to Derrien by the King, was to kill a sorceress, who had plagued the King with night terrors after they had shared an adulturous affair. Unbeknownst to the inferno knight, was the woman he had slaughtered was but the sorceress's daughter — while she watched, hidden in the distance.
With burning revenge, the sorceress disguised herself and entered the kingdom as a peasant, a day ahead of the knight's return. She had found the Sol Estate and bathed its interior in blood. Parents, siblings, lover — their lives taken. All over a foolish mistake, made by a foolish King. Upon Derrien's arrival, the sight horrified him. Just past the door, ichor stained the floors and walls. Thick trails led to the main chamber, where their bodies had been manipulated into specific forms. All the while, the wicked concubine stood just in front of them. It was within a flash of a fleeting moment, he had made the connection: he had killed the wrong woman and this was the consequence.
Primal. Savage. Wrath. He waited for no scripts to spill before he charged at the woman — the inferno within swallowing all sanity as he gripped her by the throat and threw her to the wall. Swift, in a flicker. Glove-clad fingers gripped her by the throat again and lifted her. A crystalline tear falls from the sorceress as she struggles to mutter words. Bestial state of mind left Derrien blind to what she was. Just as his fingers crushed her elfin throat and those deceitful eyes had gone lifeless, she had casted a curse upon the Knight.
Madness set ablaze, he had stormed the castle and violently murdered the King, with none to oppose him. Sending the kingdom into bewilderment, they crowned the prince and expunged the murderous crime once truth had come to light.
After burying his beloved in proper graves, it was as if Derrien sought death. He was at the frontline at every chance. The stronger the enemy, the higher the probability. His personality had become quiet and lost in waves of an emotionless sea, hidden beneath battle-born veil. His physique a husk, with volition of fatality. His mind, broken into fractals. His soul, yearning for the end. Yet, what he thought would be a sweet releasing end, was nothing more than the vile truth behind the curse — eternal rebirth.
Derrien would be reborn. Over and over throughout the eras. An infinite cycle of death and rebirth — and with each new life he gained, the memories of his pasts, followed him.

Depending on the event / situation, determines the strength and length of the manic episodes.♞ Throughout all of Derrien's lifetimes, he accumulates money consistently and often finds himself engaging in battles / fights. If you want to find him, your best bet is to use money as a catalyst.
