Born on Christmas Island, Sonic abandoned his home at an early age to pursue danger and adventures. His love for freedom and living by his own way is what birthed the carefree adventurer that most now know, and those ideals remain the driving force behind all of his actions.
Ever since stepping into the battle against iniquity, Sonic has been the champion of peace and is renowned globally for saving the world countless times. During his many adventures, Sonic has traveled from the ends of the Earth to the far reaches of space and time, facing numerous trials that have tested him to the fullest, earning him many titles, allies, and the scorns of several foes. Well-known for his legendary cocky attitude, easy-going demeanor, and somewhat short temper, yet strong sense of justice, compassion, and love for freedom and adventure, Sonic uses his abilities to protect the innocent of his world and beyond from the forces of evil, especially his arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman, and his empire.

PERSONALITY
Sonic is confident, has an attitude, and is free-spirited--refusing to be tied down by anyone or anything. He follows his own beliefs and ideals, even if it may land him in hot water, or have him going against the consensus. And while he appreciates and considers the advice given by his friends and allies, ultimately, it's his golden heart that has the last say on his actions. Sonic loves his friends and would do anything to keep them safe, all while respecting their strengths and allowing them to take the reigns where they can--he knows they've got what it takes to stick it out even through the toughest of times, and he couldn't ask for any better buddies. He enjoys teasing them from time to time too, especially ones of the hot-headed variety.
Sonic is willing to give his enemies a chance to turn over a new leaf, understanding that everyone can change for the better. Examples of this are Chaos, Metal Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles, just to name a few.
Regardless of what other people say, Sonic does not see himself as a hero. He simply acts on his own whims, doing what he thinks is the right thing, even if that means going against the tide.
APPEARANCE
Sonic is a blue hedgehog with a tan muzzle, belly, and arms. His eyes are green, said to reflect the pastures that he often runs in. On his hands, he wears white gloves that he folds at the cuffs. On his feet, he wears white socks and red sneakers that have white straps stretching horizontally along the top and golden buckles placed on the outer sides. The soles of his shoes are light grey/white and the grips on the underside are aligned in a stripe pattern.
ABILITIES
Super Speed
His supersonic speed is his most used and well-known trait. This ability allows him to surpass the speed of light, which even Sonic states is "small-time". He uses his speed to travel from place to place in a matter of seconds and thwart Eggman's plans. It's clear that over time Sonic has gotten faster, as evidenced in his second fight with Perfect Chaos.
Super Strength
Sonic's strength isn't what you'd expect for his nimble body type. Thanks to this trait, Sonic has been able to go toe to toe with giant beasts and robots and come out as the victor. His strength allows him to tear through large, thick boulders and crush metal with ease. Simply by running into them, he can send vehicles sky-high.
Enhanced Acrobatic Abilities and Reflexes
Sonic's body is incredibly limber, allowing him to make inhuman movements with incredible precision. This flexibility has allowed him to avoid and maneuver around all kinds of attacks and obstacles. His enhanced reflexes go hand-in-hand with his acrobatics, allowing him to react almost immediately to any oncoming harm.
Danger Sense
Sonic is capable of sensing imminent danger without ever having to see it. His danger sense can manifest as a sneeze or a tingling in his quills, and when paired with his super speed and enhanced acrobatics and reflexes, it makes him a tough target to hit!
Power Boost/Phantom Rush
Sonic can raise his strength and speed beyond their usual limits by utilizing an ability called "Power Boost", also known as "Phantom Rush". In this state, his body is enveloped in an azure electrical aura, his hues shining bright blue. All skills are enhanced, more potent versions of their base selves, and he can move so quickly that it looks as if he's cloned himself, each one packing an equal punch.
Energy Manipulation
Sonic is capable of manipulating multiple kinds of energy, most notably wind, and to a lesser extent, electricity. He can rain destructive spheres of energy down on his foes from above, shape razor-sharp blades by utilizing the wind, form miniature tornadoes, and create shockwaves with kicks alone.
Chaos Powers
By using the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic has access to a variety of different Chaos Powers. The most notable one--Chaos Control--allows him to bend reality to his whim. He can teleport himself and others, stop/travel through time, distort space to enhance attacks, or, with all seven, reshape reality.
EQUIPMENT
Caliburn
Caliburn is a legendary, sacred sword that Sonic pulled from a stone in Misty Lake. It is also a sentient sword, capable of speech and movement on its own. Caliburn acts like a proper and polite gentleman, which often clashes with Sonic's easygoing attitude. The two tend to go off on one another, calling each other names like "Over-sized Letter Opener" or "Knave The Hedgehog". He also acted as Sonic's mentor, teaching him skills that would help in his fights with the Knights of the Round Table.
Extreme Gear
Extreme Gear are capable of allowing their rider to fly, or at least hover, at high speeds. Depending on the model, they are powered by Air, Gravity Points, or Ring Energy. These types of fuel are used for using speed boosts to accelerate the rider to high speeds, in a technique known as Kick Dash. In addition, Extreme Gear powered by Air can drop miniature Tornadoes to trip up rivals.
Certain models of Extreme Gear each come with a variety of unique abilities, such as the ability to grind on rails, glide through the air, smash barricades and obstacles in the rider's path, or improve their own attributes. Some come with components of such abilities called Gear Parts, with which the user can alter the capabilities of their Gear. Most Extreme Gear even have their own abilities equipped in them, such as the Gambler's ability to manipulate the number of Rings the rider earns in a race based on the position they come in.
Endless Possibility
When transformed into Super Sonic, Sonic's blue fur turns into a gold color and his tan skin gains a slightly golden hue. Additionally, his green eyes become ruby red and his quills turn upward. His top quill varies in position though, either having its angle slightly raised or being upturned like his other quills. He also possesses a golden aura that can be anything from smooth to flame-like in shape and displays either faint sparkles or electrical sparks.
Super Sonic is easily one of the most powerful beings in the series, having defeated titanic robots, fearsome monsters, forces of nature, other Super State users, and even all-powerful deities. Due to having the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds, Super Sonic accordingly commands ultimate power and has access to unlimited energy.
As Super Sonic, Sonic's abilities far surpass his normal ones. His strength has been increased to incredible, incalculable levels, allowing him to take on many opponents of varying sizes and strengths. His speed is enhanced too, along with his reflexes and durability. Like the traditional Super State, Sonic has gained new abilities, such as flight, time manipulation, and the power to warp reality.

Tails Miles Prower, better known as Tails, is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic fox cub born with two distinct twin tails, hence his nickname. Due to his abnormality, Tails was a victim of bullying during his youth. One day, however, he met Sonic the Hedgehog and was inspired to become as cool as him after seeing him run like the wind. Tails soon after began following Sonic on his adventures and has since become his best friend and sidekick. He is able to use his twin tails to fly by rotating them like helicopter rotors and is a mechanic genius and aerial pilot.
A bright, energetic, and curious fox, Tails was initially timid and lacked courage. After meeting Sonic, however, he has become more confident, eventually growing into a more outgoing, brave, independent individual and a hero in his own right. Since encountering Sonic, Tails has looked up to him and stood by his side in order to help him whenever he can, having traveled around the world and far beyond alongside him, usually to stop the ambitions of the evil Dr. Eggman. Even after all of these adventures, Tails continues to stimulate the maternal instinct of many female fans from all around the world thanks to his charm that contrasts Sonic's.
Knuckles Knuckles the Echidna is one of the main characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic echidna and the current guardian of the Master Emerald, a powerful ancient relic that is his solemn duty to protect from anyone seeking to abuse it. He is also the sole surviving descendant of the echidna race from the Knuckles Clan. His dominant traits are his super strength and the two spike-like knuckles on each of his gloves, from which his name is derived, which he can use to dig with and climb walls. He can also trap the wind under his dreadlocks to glide through the air.
A loner by nature, Knuckles is independent, headstrong, and serious, yet gullible and short-tempered to a fault. He is entirely devoted to his duty, spending most of his time on Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald, and rarely cares for anything that is of no importance. When his friends and others are in need of his help, however, Knuckles can always be relied on being willing to leave his post and prove himself a faithful and good-hearted hero. He is also one of Sonic the Hedgehog's oldest friends and rivals.
Though usually depicted as the guardian of the Master Emerald, he was originally described as the guardian of Angel Island's seven Chaos Emeralds.
Amy Amy Rose, also known as Rosy the Rascal, is a fictional character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with a major crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has become his self-proclaimed girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means during their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.
Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. However, she has a scary temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her short-sighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him. Nevertheless, she has a pure heart and will not let anything stop her.

Iβm really excited to see Sonic 3 and would love to discuss it with you once itβs out in theaters 'cause I canβt wait for its release! My only minor gripe, if any,Β is that Sonic seems a bit too slapstick for my taste. While heβs always been witty and playful, his cool, 'edgy' persona is what really defines him imo. Iβm worried that this version of Sonic might come off as a bit too doltish compared to his actual portrayal in the comics or in games like SA2.

Things always seemed to get relatively livelier when that blue hedgehog showed up. It's quite always irksome to him. More than that, really.
One moment things were quiet, and then the next, well, he's found himself racing against Sonic. He doesn't see him as a friend, mind you, but as both an enemy and rival to always overcome and show who is the better lifeform around. It didn't matter what it took so as long as Sonic is put in place in any matter, any situation, even by a race on rails.
When it came to it, though, there are extremely rare times when they would fight to achieve the same goal. This would be common ground when things turn dire.
"'Tch." A scowl displays along his features when he notices the playful, but c*cky freestyle attitude Sonic had, which just annoys him further. He wasn't going to let that inner feeling of annoyance get the best of him, though. As fast as a flash of light, he's upon another rail with precise balance along his air shoes upon landing, now having sped a bit farther ahead with focus.
The rails seemed endless as they were high up way above ground, where bits of clouds could be seen, and sightings of land, mountains, and other architectures far and wide were present. There would be sharp turns when the rails spiraled in other directions, some lowering, some circling into spirals, and hell, loops were present which would be a staple, common way of traveling between them at times. Wherever the rails ended, that would decide the victor once and for all. Β

Just nearby was one of Paldea's Elite Four trainers, a young woman named Rika. At her side she was accompanied by a tough and rugged-looking Donphan. The pair had been walking from an ice cream stand, with Rika holding a frozen fruit bar that would surely start to melt in this sweltering Paldean heat soon enough. " Seriously, it can't be this hot already . . . " the young woman mused out loud in dismay. " It's not even summer yet -- "
She'd been cut off by her Donphan, who trumpeted a startled cry and took off running towards an alleyway between some shops. A small crowd of people nearby looked stunned and bewildered, with some folks talking out loud about some ' blue blur ' that had whizzed past them just a few seconds prior.
" Donphan! Wait -- !! "
Always obedient, it was quite unlike her to just up and leave her side in pursuit of something. With a groan, Rika quickly headed off into the same direction as her Pokemon, desperately hoping that she doesn't run into trouble.
It's been quite literally any other day upon the very island the electrical feline lived upon; Nothing out of the ordinary had caught her attention enough to get into action. There's been thankfully no Ultra Wormhole sightings also that would have the fur along her cat-like form stand on edge in both anxiousness and adrenaline to battle and protect the residents and wild Pokemon. In fact, it's been pretty peaceful! Maybe too peaceful? She won't complain however, it gives her much-needed time to rest and relax, as well as do her daily training without any distractions or mishaps to prevent it. Life seems pretty good right now!
Accompanied by two friendly Rowlet that lived in the area, Zera's quietly doing one of her favorite activities upon a sturdy branch of a tree: Cat napping. The wild Pokemon knew Zera, and trusted her with being a sort of guardian to them all. Even the new Pokemon that would appear from hatching or settle in the region by chance would be greeted by the feline as a welcome. Her own duty to protect others hadn't changed over the small few hundred years she's been living, and it would never change.
When the trees and other foliage has began to rustle, it catches the attention of the two Rowlet that in sync, rolled their heads all the way to the right, then to the left curiously before following it up with a few chirps and an eventual flap of their wings to fly off when they sensed something incoming. Zera's ear twitches, as well does her tail begin to lightly sway over the edge of the branch. "Mmr...?"
WHOOSH!
In an instant, a huge gust of wind makes it feel like strong gale whipped through the wooded area. Zera is hanging onto the branch now wide-awake, and with her claws embedded into the bark while her legs flailed about in utter surprise. "W-what the heck!? What was that?! Wh-- What. WAIT. NO WAY." From the corner of her eyes, the lingering blue steak had almost faded in the distance, and it makes her realize the only person it could belong to -- or rather -- the only hedgehog! With that, she scrambles back up onto the branch and immediately leaps down off from it, heading into a speedy sprint of her own.
She's not as fast as Sonic, no, but compared to most Pokemon, she's extremely faster than them. While she zips and zooms, there's electrical sparks flying off from her in her own little streak that trails behind her running, and it doesn't take long for her to eventually reach the opening to an immediate halt. She skids on the ground as if sliding on ice with wide, surprised eyes, and an even wider smile of an opened mouth.
"YOU! WHATAREYOUDOINGHERE IT'S BEEN SO LONG ICANTBELIEVETHIS!" She takes a few breaths and clears her throat. "Sonic?! What are you doing in my neck of the woods!?"
