Saliska Basics
Saliska Prototype model was the survivor of the test and trials that are the life of an experimental human weapon. Outpacing helped kill all thirteen of the sample siblings that made it to birth. Saliska is a genetic experiment that has enhanced her into a weapon. She is brainwashed and used as a high-dollar assassin. She is slowly freeing herself of her brainwashing and does seek to know the world. As it is to her, not as it was taught to her.
Her face is reconstructed to change how it moves and works, giving her features a doll-like softness, her pale skin ivory. Her eyes are a true green, and she brightens to a near neon when she is focused on something. Her hair is a near-translucent silver. The long, lightweight strands and hard to break. One will cut their skin before the strand breaks in hand. She stands 5'5 with a slender athletic build. She weighs a deceptive 190 due to increased muscle and bone mass. Her delicate fingers ends with soft pink nails that are rounded into an almond shape.
Saliska's Primary Goals
- Escape the Lab.
- Learn how to blend in with humans.
- Avoid being recaptured by SheridanLabs.
- Maintain her life as a human.
- Protect her allies with all she has.
- Fight the lab's attempts to capture her.
- Stand up against the lab to free the other experiments.
- Overcome her conditioning and training, and find herself who she is.
if one interests you, let me know; they, however, are not all-inclusive
nor do they have to be a focus. I am open to discussions always ♥
Saliska's Primary nature:
Saliska was raised to be violent. However, such is not her true nature. She had thought it was, raised from childhood to be a weapon, trained and beaten, tortured and tested until she could hardly think of anything else but obeying those of the lab. Her tormentors felt to be the only people in the world that mattered.
One can keep someone's true nature down for so long. With a bit of luck, violence, and the strain of years of killing. The weight of her kill upon her helped clear her mind. Convinced her that the way she lived her life was wrong. The whispers of her directives in the back of her mind, The taunts that killing is the best answer. A struggle within herself to maintain her own mind. Her own will. Herself against the brainwashing that had been pressed within her for the entirety of her life.
Once escaped, once on her own, Surviving and learning of the world alone is a test beyond any she faced before. Hopefully, fate will smile upon her and lend her a chance to learn before the lab reclaims her.
Abilities
SHARP TEETH:
Saliska's teeth are sharper than humans, ending in a sharp edge.
A painful thing to be bitten by, as Saliska learned herself when learning to eat.
INCREASE BITE:
Saliska's jaw can unhinge to give her a powerful bite, this rips her face open on either side to her cheeks, a bloody sight and terrifying to many. The wounds take 2 hours to heal up, and she is not able to talk while it's doing so or the healing will start all over.
BLADED JOINTS:
Saliska's Knees and elbows of spines that can erupt from her skin. The spines are part of her role as a weapon.
KNEE:
The spine sits along the front of her shin, hidden in a grove within the bone. It is pressed out with a unique muscle and is a foot long. It pressed directly up from under the bend of the knee.
ELBOW:
The Spine rests in her forearm. The two bones fused and formed a spine in the center that presses out of the arm and six inches from under the bend of the elbow. When out, it rests along her upper arm if not withdrawn.
WRISTS:
The Spine Rests in her arm that is pushed twelve inches past her wrist. It limits her hand's mobility when it's out, so she tries not to use it, in fact, the people in the lab have no idea she can use them.
FINGERNAILS:
Saliska's fingers and toenails retract into strong blade-like nails, her finger and toes nails much like her bones, dense and stronger than usual nails
WEAPONIZED HAIR:
Saliska's hair is the consistency of thin wires. Each strand can support 3 pounds of pressure. When combined together, she can slice or strangle them.
BONE DENSITY:
Saliska Her bones are dense and reinforced with metal that is not easily broken. Not to say they cannot be if pressed far enough.
Additionally, that means she weighs more than she looks and can strike harder than it seems she could, which would be a positive effect.
However, that means swimming is hard for her, her own body weighs her down, and Electricity or extreme cold is painful for her. You will not see her in cold environments because she will be nestled in heavy coats in a nearly unrecognizable bundle.
MUSCLE CHANGES:
Saliska's muscles change to compensate for the bone mass, giving her a toned look to her and increased strength. The slender muscles hold more power, which allows her to press them to move quickly.
SPEED:
Saliska is roughly twice as fast as normal. This is due to the changes in her muscles and her build. However, moving too fast for too long exhausts her quickly, so she tries to avoid doing so.
BLOOD:
Saliska's blood has several additives that allow her to function. When injected into human causes, her blood gives them a boost of speed, healing, a drop in impulse control, and the ability to remain calm. Her 0- blood type allows anyone to take her blood. She is aware of its healing capabilities.
To the supernatural creatures, her blood mixed with the DNA of animals and increased metabolize, increased fight or flight, and healing will cause unknown effects. Her blood was designed to smell near humans. The goal, after all, to create an upgraded human in Sheridan labs.
EYES:
Saliska's eyes, usually a standard green, flash a bright green as she slips into her impulses; This is caused by the changes in her blood flow and focus.
Her eyesight is a little stronger than a human, but not by much.
Saliska's Youth
My Lot ID is 5284.
My designation is 12.
My Sample ID: Saliska
I was one of many. Our faces all bore the same adaptations until we all bore the same face. Our designation is all that sets us apart. We were the Saliska sample. We were the same always as one, our screams of pain married to a fevered orchestra of joint pain on experiment days and the gentle sobs and whimpers from tests and exhaustion the rest. We were one. We were us, and I was them.
By Ten, Those who survived the tests and experiments were complete. We were strong in mind and body.
We can maintain focus against the adrenaline added into our blood. We heal quickly and endure pain enough to keep moving even after brutal tests that leave our bodies broken and torn. But still, we are too many. They needed one to grow the rest to dissect and inspect.
We were gathered before all the scientists and guards. A sickening pleasure echoed in the voices as the command was given. We were to find who was the strongest. Kill the weak. We fought for our lives until blood painted the floor and coated our bodies. I am number twelve. I slaughtered my siblings and stood covered in their blood. I was panting as my own blood melded with theirs upon the white floor.
They call me Saliska now. I am strong; They tell me I am allowed to leave the lab, I will be a hero, and be able to use my abilities to kill those who wish to harm my home. A new life was offered to me through the slaughter of those who, until now, had shared my past. I will have a future that is mine. I live because they died.
I am Saliska, Experiment 528412. I am a weapon. I will be the protector of my home.
I will be a hero. I am the only Saliska with a future. That honor is mine and mine alone
The Experiment 15th year of life
A home. A place to rest, to unwind, a place beloved by most humankind. My home, the only home I have ever known, is dark, the gray of concrete, only broken by maroon stains for punishments of failings long forgotten. A constant dim light settled deep within the concrete out of reach illuminates my 10x7 room. The concrete riser, plastic pad, and an attached silicon blanket make my bed. Clothes dished out daily through the same slot as my thrice daily meal bar and water cup.
It may not be much to you, but for my twelve years of life, this has been my home. I am dangerous, you see. I am training to be strong. To help people, to be a hero, they say. Since I am so powerful, I cannot wander free, a sacrifice for strength. To be a good hero, I must trust in the system that assigns the deaths I create. It is for your safety and for mine.
The screams of the men and women I have slain, the memories of the bodies, the way they begged. They didn't look evil to me. Scared and fragile. Their faces haunt me. I am told they have done bad things and will bring bad things to my home and the people I love. To the Doctors, guards, scientists, and workers that raised me. They would see us all dead, so they must die. But..still, is it right?
These thoughts plague my mind, Though I will be punished should I speak them out loud. I am a Peacekeeper. I am a weapon. I protect my people and their contributions to the world.
