Excited and beaming with curiosity, Oughie Leonhart is the Warrior of Light that Eorzea has been waiting for. Many years prior to his arrival were spent studying under his teacher, who he took the name of, Squall Leonhart. Mastering the art of the Gunblade, he set foot on his own adventure, helping many and any who were in need of aid.
With careful stoicness and discipline, he is not one to turn down the excitement of adventure. Upon reaching the docks of Limsa Lominsa as he enlisted in the Maelstrom's cause, the mother crystal, Hydaelyn, bestowed upon to him a power so great, his power and strength as well as his intelligence boosted to levels not imaginable by himself.
In addition to his awe inspiring skills with a Gunblade, Oughie expands his arsenal training in many different stduies of combat. His most recent field of expertise finds him studying the ancient art of Scholars, summoning fey fairies to help shield himself and his allies in the face of peril.
Born on the 32nd day of the Third Astral Moon, Oughie was found abandoned in a forest dense with trees and vegetation by the mysterious and adorable moogles. As he grew older and more curious, he wondered how he was so much more different than the moogles that he was raised by. Chief Kupo, realizing that he could not shelter the young lalafellen for his entirety without realizing the truth, equipped the young boy at the age of 9 with a wooden sword and set out on a journey to find people like he. Walking endlessly for what felt like eternities, he discovered the Garden of Balamb, where Headmaster Leonhart took him in to be trained as a member of SeeD. Leonhart, taking him in as his personal student, taught him the way of the Gunblade specialist. Oughie passed the SeeD exam at the age of 16, holding the record for the youngest SeeD member up to that point. He set out of many dangerous but rewarding missions for the sake of Garden and the surrounding lands and lives that inhabited it. Headmaster Leonhart, realizing that the student had more potential than he could offer expertise, set him out on an adventure of his very own.
