He life as a Starfleet Officer wasn't always a clean record. She spent many of her days in the brigs of various ships and stations for insubordination, fights, etc. Yet, she always chose to not follow the regulations and rules of Starfleet. For better or worse, she would finally find herself on the U.S.S. Cerritos. The very starship her mother captains. While the ship isn't as noteworthy as the Enterprise or Defiant.
