History:

Buffy was adopted at the tender age of three by the Patterson's. A rich and well to do couple who could never have children of their own. Buffy's past was a mystery to her, the only thing she could ever really remember was a fire, and a lot of yelling. She always had nightmares of that night and remembered yelling for her mother in the middle of night. When Rebecca would come to comfort her, Buffy would insist that she wanted her real mother and not her. 

Time went by, Buffy grew to her surroundings, being spoiled by the couple, who gave in to her every whim and want. She was sure it had to do with her medical problems. As a young child she would always have a craving for blood, she was diagnosed with Renfields Syndrome, it seemed to her that once she was diagnosed with this they made sure she had every opportunity to have the blood she wanted when she needed it. To most this would seem like odd behavior, but no they embraced it. Buffy even went through stages of when she tried to bite others, a normal stage for any child who didn't understand the consequences, but for her, she knew it was a way to get food. They were able to get that under control, supposedly through hypnosis. It worked and the biting stopped.

Buffy never thought about any of these things, she barely went out into the sun, her skin so fair, it wouldn't take her long to burn at all. A fear of an allergy to sunlight was laid to rest, she had to slather up in sunblock before going out during the day. Yes she was spoiled by her parents, but who wouldn't want their child to have what they wanted, especially when you were unsure where the disease would later take them in life?

It was her sixteenth birthday that showed how spoiled she was, the event itself was an episode of 'My Sweet Sixteen.' The theme was Arabic knights, and she at the center of it all, her school was invited, a new car, and a vacation for her and some friends to the one and only Scotland. Yes life was going great, but the gods had other things in mind for the young teenager. Her once normal life came crashing down, and with it, a whole new discovery of what and who she really is.
