Wolf Breathing

Known users: Okami Hitokiri, Hakuo Kanzaki

History: Wolf breathing is derived from Wind breathing and its creator is Okami Hitokiri. Wolf breathing was created back when shoguns still fought wars with samurai warriors at the time, even in a time when demons ran rampant through the country, the shoguns were too busy playing their war games for land and power. One shogun named; Chosokabe, noticed the breathing techniques used by demon slayers, he commissioned Okami to learn a breathing technique and see if it could be used for war or to create a breath that would be able to. So first Okami was able to learn wind breathing and how it worked, then he created Wolf breathing, a breath style for use on humans. Okami, out of respect for the demon slayers, didn’t teach the samurai the Wolf breathing technique, instead he taught them a very watered down version. In order to pass on the breath into the demon slayers, he taught Hakuo Kanzaki the breath forms.

Forms -

First form: Opportunity Strike
- Essentially a wait and see form. A wide stance is taken and weapon is readied and drawn. Weapon is held far out to the side. Once enemy is close a powerful horizontal strike is released.

Second form:  Cleaving Bite - Can be used with one blade or dual blades. Two strikes are made in quick succession in opposing directions closely resembling an upper and bottom jaw biting down.

Third form: Rending Claw - Three slashes are formed out of one singular slash.

Fourth form: Howl to the Moon - Blade is pointed straight up to the sky and brought down in a downward slash, sending a half moon wave forward for 20 ft. the wave is as thin as the blade and as tall as the highest point of the strike.

Fifth form: Relentless Pursuit - A breath is drawn in and let out, allowing the user’s body to surpass limits of endurance and speed regarding running and jumping.

Sixth form: Fang of Death - A piercing thrust forward with the blade tip, can pierce sheets of iron and rock.

Seventh form: Wild Dog -  A “backed into a corner” technique, the user slashes wildly in all directions like a blender cutting anything that gets close. The form is quick enough that it seems as if the user was multiple individuals.Eighth form: Howling Blitz - A completely offensive form with no defense. Several attacks ranging from 6 to 10, depending on the users experience, is made. The speed of the attack is quick enough that the user appears to be attack from multiple directions at once.
