Like Old Times, With New Adventures (Post-Endwalker)

Ever since their duties as Scions had concluded, Alphinaud returned home to Sharlayan. Having a sort of “normal” life began to feel quite foreign to him. He was too used to the daily grind of being on the frontlines… he missed his friends, missed being out on the field with the WoL. Part of him yearned to return to such a life, yet he knew it was only his sentimental. He would often glance back at his old adventuring garb… gently touching the glass upon the display… memories, both good and bad… he softly closed his eyes to reminisce.

Something within him suddenly snapped… as if his own soul had remained asleep for too long. He began to collect materials around the shops and ring up a call to Tataru, inquiring she tailor him a fresh new garb… he planned to adventure once more. Seeing the fire back in her son’s ever blue hues, gave Ameliance a grin from ear to ear. Seeing Alphinaud happy was far more important for her. Days later… as much as it hurt her to see him off again, Ameliance would send Alphinaud off with a smile— along with promises to write from time to time.

Boarding the vessel, Alphinaud would set out to Eorzea… where it all began for he and Alisaie.
