Age: Two years younger then Souunkatsu.  Souunkatsu is about the same age as Kaien.

Gender: Male

Personality: Laid back, carefree, inquisitive.  Can be rebellious and will only follow orders from chosen authority, such as Captain Ukitake and later on Rukia Kuchiki.  He tends to enjoy sake and shochu, he often brings treats from the World of the Living for his captain.  He likes music played by the biwa and shamesin.  He likes the color of blue and silver.  Which are the colors of the sky.

Physical Traits: Highly agile and quick.  Well verse in hand to hand combat as much as using his weapon.  Well verse in Bojutsu, Naginatajutsu.  Perferred swordstyle is Tennen Rishin-ryū.

Height: 5'10

Body Type: Slender and athletic.

Appearance: Long white hair often tied up in a high ponytail.  Sky blue eyes and fair skin.  He does have hints of albinism like his brother, but not to the extent where it effects his vision or make him easy to burn.

Other important Info: Katsumaru has some Omniyouji abilities aside of Shinigami skills.  His motif is freedom which widely reflects on his zanpakuto and his personality.  Katsumaru's reishi is elemental like Toshiro and Yamamoto's.  Except his element is wind.  Capable of spinning tornadoes with his reishi alone.

Shikai (if one): Kamitaka - Divine Falcon
Element of the zanpakuto is wind.  When released his zanpakuto turns into a naginata that has a tessen at the tsuba and at the blunt end.  A steady flow of constant wind flow around his body.  
Kazetaka - Wind Falcon - A special ability while the zanpakuto is released as vortex of wind circle around Katsumaru's feet and provide him lift. Which makes his movements much quicker. He technically could use this ability to fly.

Saikuron - Cyclone.
A special attack that is associated with the shikai. When twirled around quickly through his fingers, an enormous amount of wind is generated into a vortex. He often use this ability to shred his opponent or hollows.

Bankai (if one): Kamitaka Hariken - Divine Falcon Hurricane
The zanpakuto does not change shape. The wind generated in the bankai is quicker and more heavy. There is quite more amount of wind that is generated. A sort of sash like bag is wrapped around Katsumaru's torso, arms and hung over his back and sometimes helps provide Katsumaru lift. Which enables him to fly freely in the wind he generates.
Kamitaka Akumaarashi - Divine Falcon Demon Temptest
A more powerful attack then Saikuron that is generated during bankai which he spins his zanpakuto and it creates multiple vorteces strong enough to eat through stone and distort spiritual pressure.

Background
 Katsumaru Wataku was the 2nd son and third child of his family. He was born from the 4th district of Rukongai. He joined the academy shortly after his older brother and sister. While his brother excelled in many of the subjects, Many of them didn't come natural for him. However he was able to excell in hand to hand combat and kendo. He studied and trained hard. He would eventually graduate and was placed in Squad 13.
Like his older brother he was hard working to get stronger. Like his brother who undergone a ritual to get more powerful, he too focused on purifying his soul. He also had started to get more powerful much quicker. When his brother became the Captain of Squad 10, he had plans on making Katsumaru his lieutenant. That plan never came as Souunkatsu undergone hollowfication after fighting a powerful demon named Hirokaru.
After his elder brother's fall. He would assume as head of the Wataku and Katsumaru was placed in the 4th Seat of Squad 13. For the longest time he stayed in Squad 13 and eventually the squad and it's Captain won over his loyalty even though he proved to be hard to handle. He took to the job of patrol around Squad 13. He would eventually befriend Zennosuke Kurumadani and Hidetomo Kajomaru. Often he would take turns with the two in the World of the Living. He would also eventually warm up to Kaien Shiba due to Kaien's relationship with his elder brother.
He would eventually among the squad to welcome Rukia Kuchiki. In the past he was often distant with her simply because he doesn't know her and often let Kaien take care of her training.

Parents & Relatives:  Souunkatsu Wataku and Suisei Wataku are his two older siblings.  

Relationship: He only takes orders of chosen authority figures such as Captain Ukitake, Lieutenant Rukia and Captain Yamamoto.  Other then that with is friendly attitude, he gets along well with many of his squadmates.  He does get slightly annoyed of the 3rd Seats.
