"Vile's Biography"
~History~ -Early 21XX- (Timeline of X1) Before his rebellion with the ex-commander of the Maverick Hunters, Sigma, Vile was a renowned hunter among his comrades but the way he did his job often got him in trouble by commanding officers and even arrested at times. Others have thought he was becoming the very thing Maverick Hunters were trying to stop. During his incarceration within the Hunter base, Sigma approached Vile with a proposition involving confronting X, someone who he grew a hatred toward because of him being spoken so highly as one of the best hunters. The two then set off with a plan to cause a spree of Maverick appearances within the city and soon Vile meets up with X on a destroyed highway but before getting his chance to defeat the hunter with the help of a ride armor, Zero appears and frees X, forcing Vile to flee aboard a flying carrier owned by Storm Eagle. Later, Vile encounters X again at Sigma's fortress but has overwhelmed and apprehended Zero to prevent any interference. Yet the tables soon turned as Zero broke free and paid the ultimate price of his own life as he self destructed to destroy Vile's machine, leaving the rogue hunter defenseless now as he began his battle with X. Their brawl was soon cut short after X managed to defeat the "Maverick" hopefully for good.
-Mid 21XX- (Timeline of X3) It has been presumably a matter of a few years since X and Vile's last battle and also the end of Sigma's rebellion for the past few times. Now the city had hoped to prosper under the guidance of a researcher named Dr. Doppler, he manufactured a newer generation of Reploids with more complex A.I in hopes to prevent from becoming mavericks. However the doctor's creations had changed over time as wars began to break out and maverick incidents were happening again, leaving the doctor responsible but among the newest generation of machines Vile was brought back too. The manner of which is unclear but it is likely the Control Chip every Reploid contains was the key to his revival as the maverick leader, Sigma, was also brought from the brink of death in a new body. Vile's behavior wasn't altered in the least as now his only plan was to meet X once more to settle an old score, he was given enhancements by the doctor himself to help carry out that goal in mind. The new and improved Vile had confronted X at an abandoned warehouse rigged to blow up in a matter of minutes if X couldn't defeat him in time. X however had learned Vile's tactics and forced him to retreat after defeating him and fleeing the collapsing building. With a more advanced Riding Armor, Vile anticipated the veteran hunter's arrival at Doppler's hidden base only to be destroyed once more. Before his death, Vile left X a haunting message promising he will haunt the hunter until the day he dies.
-Late 21XX- (Timeline of X8 ) Many years later, humanity has now been advancing with the help of Reploid technology. One great achievement being a towering elevator being erected to lead straight towards the moon all the way from Earth. Now for every new breed of Reploid made as of recently there seemed to be some fault in their programming to make them go Maverick, only to be revealed by a philosopher at the time their free independence allows for them to go Maverick at will along with the help of the same control chips taken from earlier Reploids. Vile was somehow resurrected once more by an unknown source, likely to assist in the advancement for the new future for all Reploids. Now his goals were to help in that but his agenda in eliminating X still lingered. His first encounter with X in his new and enhanced body was brief as Vile only managed to kidnap the elevator project leader, Lumine, and flee the area. The next time he eventually settles the score one last time with X from aboard the moon base where Sigma's fleet resides. Although now with Axl and Zero at X's side they were able to beat Vile once and for all despite the great arsenal the maverick possessed.
~Personality~ Vile is very arrogant, violent, and often rude at times while being known to have an unstable mind. Even for working alongside the Maverick Hunters before fighting against them, he was considered an ally but he never thought himself as one of them. He had a habit of working alone and not accepting orders from superiors which resulted in frequent arguments with the commander. Because of an irreparable short circuit in his electronic brain, Vile developed somewhat of a sociopathic passion for annihilating Mavericks whenever he could while also causing territorial damage in the process, it included bystanders and Maverick Hunters alike. This lust may have been what lead to his incarceration and being labeled a Maverick. No matter what incarnation it may be, Vile always held a grudge against X for not only having been a lower rank than Vile, but also how he is always given attention and being spoke highly of by his peers. -Vile showing murderous intent against a wounded X-
~Appearance~ In each appearance no matter what, he's been garbed in basic armor with a helmet that allows him to see through a T-shaped visor. Over his right shoulder is a trademark weapon of his in the form of an energy cannon with an ammo belt attached to it and along his back. Such weapons are pretty heavy due to the manner in which he walks and his appearance could be a hint to why he is called a "War Machine". Over the course of X3 and X8 his overall appearance is still the same but with added weapon attachments and slightly different color scheme.

~Powers & Abilities~ -Front Runner- A mounted shoulder cannon on his right side that happens to shoot concentrated golden energy projectiles with great accuracy. -Cherry Blast Vulcan- An arm-type weapon that allows for firing a stream of little bullets that have rapid-fire capabilities. -Bumpity Boom- A leg-type napalm weapon which lets Vile shoot out a grenade from his knee which explodes at a good radius after rolling a preset distance. -Ride Armor- A multipurpose vehicle used primarily for combat or construction. Many variants are equipped with weapons like arm/shoulder cannons for armed combat, others have spiked limbs to level the ground for construction. Some are built for traversing even the skies using high-powered jets and in the depths of the ocean with the help of strong turbines.
