02/03/2024 06:20 PM  Patience is a virtue many of you do not have Y'all know people work, right?  Waiting a a few hours won't kill you, nor would waiting until the weekend or they have time off to do roleplay related stuff that's more in depth than status banter.  Don't be like Adventurous and be a little bitch about people on statuses and spend more time bashing them then actually roleplaying or doing replies instead of using something called your brain.  Many of the people who do those status bants do so to keep the juices flowing while they're busy doing rl stuff.  I know SOME of you neglect rl responsibilities for rp which you shouldn't.  If you're the type to block after a few minutes, you don't want a story that isn't the least bit thought out, but again... there's people on here who try to pass those kinds of stories off as well thought out.  Not everyone's into doing those "thanks for the add" messages, that's basically assumed when you accept the add.  Would you rather a "thanks for accepting my friend request" be the first message or the first message even if it takes a week to be "okay, here's my idea for a roleplay between us *insert display/ character here*?  Which sounds more like they have a story in mind and ready to fire in your first message? Being thanked for something that's implied upon request accepted or being hit with a story suggestion? 0 Comments

09/10/2023 08:33 PM  Are roleplay retcons usable as oc canon? Something I've always wondered .  When people tout their oc's accomplishments in roleplays.  Why?  Not every character or writer will care what your character has done be it in their own story or through roleplay stories they've done, especially when the roleplay being discussed has nothing to do with combat or that particular roleplay's themes. Another is, when you're roleplaying a group vs a big bad, does it invalidate the roleplay when you complain about something that makes no sense when you consider the big bad is a threat of universal proportions and what was destroyed was retconned to not be because the "mc" for the roleplay decided to cry about an action done to illustrate a taste of the level of threat of the big bad by the big bad who then retcons it because "mc" cried about it. to me, it does and calls into question previous roleplays of similar design by that roleplayer as it's telling me that those roleplays could've easily just been written by the "mc" if she is going to get upset over an illustration of threat level more for the people reading and not participating and get the big bad to retcon his post from crying about it not making sense when it does especially given the setting and verse.  That action alone, turns that particular story and others of similar design as not just invalid roleplays going forward, but also marks a massive question mark on their past ones.  It turned a somewhat interesting story into something designed to jack off your oc to look more powerful much akin to goku fanboys do with goku against like saitama and all that. I have a character who got the absolute dogsh*t beat out of him because another character in the group roleplay lied.  Did I cry about it? No, my character now dislikes that character canonically to his own story and I didn't complain, but instead do what good roleplays do, improv and adapt.  My character holds no grudge to the character who beat his ass because they were doing their job, the liar though... he will swing on her whenever he sees her or make remarks. 0 Comments

04/15/2023 11:15 PM  No differing opinions and other things… myeh If you're the type to put your opinion out there and delete any that even slightly disagree with yours because you dislike hearing opinions different from your own and are just seeking validation for your own opinions even when they're made from places of ignorance, shut the f*** up and keep your opinion to yourself and don't put it out there.  It makes you look pathetic bro.  Especially when you want people to respect your opinion on subjects while acting like other people's opinions do not matter... that's hypocritical, but then again this is ani where A LOT of people do hypocritical things.  The anti eros... you find them doing ero often, the no dramas? Same thing with them.  The always in character people?  Just a shield to protect from being sh*tty people more often than not.  The first two are obvious when you see it, but always in character try to be slick, but some are too stupid to realize their own mask off moments. imagine calling someone "in character" a bitch numerous times and blocking them the instant they call your character a p**sy.  Now, not only is that a bitch move, but also shows that you're not in character and just using always in character to excuse you being a d*ckhead ooc for no reason to people because you expect everyone to automatically believe the always in character line.  For someone who was in a group of idiots who kept bringing up rp fighting when someone talked sh*t... your p**sy ass ran really fast to push the block button when insulted just once in character after calling someone a bitch numerous times "in character".  Seems you're just a sh*tty person who is also fake as f*** and a massive bitch, but... at least I know my own oc's stuff, have her stuff coherently put together and didn't need to change it more than 8 times within 3 years... and not even character growth changes, but just changes to the character.  I also only have two versions, a safe for work and nsfw because not everyone can handle some of the themes for this character.  I do not feel the need to have a different Version of my oc for each site im on writing her.   I do not bash ero rpers for writing ero, but do make fun of the ero people for weirdo or really dumb stuff like inflation... sonicfanbaselewdwritersiseeyouthere, having chests be squeezed into/against your character, and characters falling for each other even if it doesn't make sense from a narrative or how the characters are. 0 Comments

06/15/2022 08:07 PM  Reimi backstory slight redux Reimi, the demon lord's spawn and watcher of the leylines or so she claimed.  The demon lord always brushed it off whenever the subject of her claim of being his child came up.  His upper class subjects cudgeled their brains trying to figure out how someone so completely the opposite of their lord was related to him.  Their lord, a monster amongst monsters in physical strength, his "daughter" so physically weak, she is actively bullied by her own familiars.  Though it was brought up by some of the mages, it was discarded as a pointless argument.  What Reimi lacked in strength she far more than made up for in monstrous magical prowess which could be why she was so pathetically weak even amongst mages.  There has never been a mage in history who ever got bullied by their own familiars before her.  Then there's her own "siblings" who also mess with her.  The sisters often forced her into getups or attire she refused to wear, such outfits with the bananas, strawberries, pumpkins, or sunflowers on them.  They also tended to throw her between each other playing catch due to her being of a rather low weight. Though bullied by her familiars, they always stuck close to her during meetings and the like as her personal guard.  They'd guard her until the meetings over then go back to bullying her, but the majority of the bullying was of a more playful nature known only to be so between them, to the outsiders looking in, it often seemed to be serious bullying.  Her familiars do enjoy making her flustered  at inopportune times, using her as a rest, and lording over her their very noticeable size difference.  There have been reports of siblings occasionally using her as a shield to block incoming magical attacks, but never truly confirmed by witnesses when asked.  They instead averted their gaze and acted as though they hadn't seen either at all even if reports put them in the same area or were confirmed by many to have.  Reimi for many years was forced to have a sitter whose sole responsibility was to train her in her magic and to stop any more major mishaps after she accidentally erased a series of magma lakes from existance, filled a human castle with some kind of sticky white substance, turned a lake into a misama pit, and turned a human prince into a cat in the same day until she learned to hone her magic.    0 Comments
