Interaction Places

Since this post is going to be a bit long, here's a quick overview of the most important rules to avoid wasting anyone's time:

- please don't approach me if you are a minor
- please have decent grammar
- friendship and romance with build up and chemistry only

Now onwards with what places you can meet Aria!

-----

GALAR

Since Aria lives in Hammerlocke, Galar, Galar is where you can find her for lasting interactions. This can be in Hammerlocke itself, in the Wild Area where she trains, or even a few of the other towns - but she doesn't stay in other towns for more than a few days in a row, so for a longer thread the closer to Hammerlocke it is? The better.

UNOVA, ALOLA

Before settling in Galar, Aria traveled through these two regions while wandering around. Since she caught some Pokémon in these regions, she tries to vacation to these places once a year, each, so that her Pokémon won't get too homesick. These vacations tend to last a week or so, so the lenght of the interactions is limited in that sense, since she'll return home after. There are no specific towns she visits in these places, so any town will work.

KANTO, JOHTO, HOENN

These are also regions where she can vacation to if required. She speaks the language, but with a Sinnohan dialect. Regardless, it's enough for her to get by. Vacations here tend to be one or two weeks, bringing a limit to interactions, before she returns back to Galar.
- In Kanto she's interested in Celadon City - mostly to see the flowery gym. Being that she grew up around flowers, Aria won't pass up a chance to check out Kantonian ones. Another place she'd like to check out is Cerulean City and its gym, mostly for her Vaporeon.
- In Johto the focus is mostly Blackthorn City, where the Dragon Den is at, together with the Dragon Gym. As a gym trainer from a dragon gym herself, she's practically legally obligated to check these out, after all.
- No particular town in Hoenn, anything will go.

SINNOH

Just like how Unova and Alola are yearly trips, Sinnoh is a trip she makes twice a year, to visit her parents. Her trips are mostly centered around Floraroma since that's where they live. Sometimes she helps out at the flower shop, other times she just strolls around the familiar places she's missed. Other towns are mostly a day trip sort of thing. She prefers to be back in her old bed at night.

HISUI

Aria winds up dropped in ancient Hisui ( not as the protag though - that's reserved for Rei/Akari. Think more along the lines of Ingo, who also got dropped but doesn't really have a notable role in the storyline. She retains her memories and, even though she lives in Galar, since she was born and raised in Sinnoh she's just REALLY confused with this place that both does, and doesn't, seem to be Sinnoh.
Despite having her Pokéballs on her, she's unable to open them since the technology doesn't exist yet. The only Pokémon she has on her are Shaymin and Vaporeon, who she'd been using to tend to her plants before she got dropped in Hisui.
All in all, she's very confused, hecka freaked out ( and VERY vocal about how weird everything is ) - though it's hard to tell if it's her who's more freaked out, or the people of Hisui, considering she's just strolling around with her Pokémon buddies in a place where that's just NOT normal.

The Galar Girls I Write

Since I keep talking about writing other characters as well, I should give the information properly!

I keep Aria as my main on here since she's an independant character in that she's a Hammerlocke Gym Trainer - hence why she's easier to work with in various circles. But that doesn't mean that she's all I got!

The character I -actually- use the most on tumblr would be Kira Kouyou : a character who follows the pokémon sword protag story line, a battling genius and self proclaimed curry champ who is kind of lacking when it comes to common sense that doesn't actually have to do with Pokémon. Born in Ecruteak, Johto, she moved to Galar when she was 8 years old, moving into the empty house next to Leon and Hop's place - the same place she sets out from after Leon gives her her first Pokémon, Scorbunny. It's from there on that she goes on a journey, mostly because Leon asked her to be her best friend's rival, and because Hop also said that it'd be the fastest way for him to grow as a trainer. Who is she to refuse if it'll help him out that much? ( but oh Arceus she was NOT counting on becoming champ PLEASE SEND HELP, Leon, LEONNN DO YOU WANT YOUR TITLE BACK?? PLEASE TAKE IT BACK SHE CAN'T DO THIS ! ! ! ! ! )

She's got kind of a large character sheet, so whether or not I'm going to be uploading it later on is actually up for debate.

Of course, the house wasn't always empty : it used to be lived in by the Evans family. But after Regina died, Kingsley took their children, Gloria and Victor, and they all moved to Wedgehurst. Gloria, far more energetic than her twin brother and always eager to help, helps Professor Magnolia at the lab once she reaches twelve years of age. Most of what she does is things requiring legwork that the old Professor can no longer do but that the energetic Galarian gets done in a flash! She receives her Sobble from Leon.

By the start of the game she's become an official research assistant, though she's got no thoughts on becommig a professor or anything. She likes the supporting role more, to go out and verify theories - that sort of thing!

And then there is Sonia. Childhood friend to Nessa and Leon ( and when needed, other gym leaders / characters who had done the challenge when they did ), she's now grown into an independant professor by the end of everything.

As you can see, Gloria got a different story to make up for the fact she is no longer the protag ( I just liked her too much to simply erase her ), and while it's not obvious from this little post, there are various hc's that link Sonia and Gloria to a region where Kira is the champion ( such as how Sonia takes care of Kira's Zacian at the lab -- and Gloria's job now includes walking Kira and Hop's legendary dogs and Sonia's Yamper ). Small things on their own, but still ones that conflict with anyone else being the champion. Hence why they're a little more difficult to work with in that sense - especially since I don't particularly feel like making different verses for them to accomodate other champions ( with the example being pre-game stuff / childhood things for Sonia ).

But, if you require a Galarian Champ ( whose walls are filleeeddddd with Leon posters, and then the occasional Nessa or Raihan one ) rather than a Hammerlocke Gym trainer, the option is there upon request!

WHEW! I think that's enough of my messy rambling! Good job making it through that all somehow, it can't have been easy, I'm fully aware of just how all over the place it was...-- xD;;

Have a picture of all my Galar girls at the beach!

Sonia is catching up on her magazine, Kira and Gloria are playing with Kira’s DREADFUL ball, and Aria doesn’t even want to be seen anywhere NEAR that thing, she’s SO certain it’s cursed - as most sensible people would.

Her Pokémon

D
espite being a trainer in the dragon gym, and using only her Hakamo-o and Abomasnow in battles in said gym, her strongest Pokémon is actually her very first one : Vaporeon. And out of all her Pokémon, it's the one who enjoys fighting the most, and who actually gets antsy going without a fight for too long.

Her travels have left a good few people mildly traumatised about the vicious Vaporeon ( mostly in Unova - in Alola and Sinnoh Vaporeon mostly fought some wild Pokémon ), and the Wild Area is always the perfect place to let it run around and vent its energy.

Her grass Pokémon are -far- more peace loving, and while they're fine in a fight, they prefer to just busy themselves with flowers, so Aria rarely forces them to fight. Emolga is shockingly ready to go at it with Pokémon bigger than it ( much like his tiny trainer ) and Liepard is, quite frankly, VERY lazy - but gets cranky when woken from naps by opponents and will most certainly lash out in turn.

Evolving Eevee

A
ria’s first Pokémon had been the Eevee she hatched from an egg - the egg had come from her parents’ Vaporeon and Leafeon. This had been when she was ten years old.

By the time she was fifteen, her Eevee was itching to evolve. Aria wasn’t entirely certain what to evolve her into, however. Her parents never said it, but it was obvious to Aria they expected either a Leafeon or a Vaporeon like them, since this would help with the business. Either of those would do well with helping out the flowers. Aria also wanted to take Eevee’s thoughts into account, and with so many options, she had a hard time choosing.

At that point Aria already had a Lilligant and her Comfey. She thought a Vaporeon would go with them best and, after asking Eevee what she thought, she choose that option.

Since Vaporeon enjoyed water, Aria took up swimming more often, becoming better at it than she had been. All so they could spend the time in the water together. Other times they’d play with her other Pokémon who’d enjoy Vaporeon’s bubbles floating through the air.

All in all, she never regretted her choice.

Appearance and Style

Owning a body without curves, sharp eyes and an even sharper personality, Aria has long since accepted that there’s nothing feminine about her. Due to her lack of pigments her skin is a sickly pale and her hair a weird faded out colour. Whether it’s the way she looks or the way she talks, neither is cute, nor is she what many people would call beautiful.

She knows this, so she doesn’t really try to dress up. It won’t suit her. She knows this. If she wears something cute, she’ll just look weird. She knows this, too. She knows it, and yet sometimes she can’t help but wish it -wouldn’t- be like that. That she COULD wear cute, girly clothes. And that they wouldn’t look out of place on her.

But they do, so she doesn’t wear them.

Instead, her style is more the tomboyish sorts. She also doesn’t accessorize much, other than the occasional subtle hair accessory. Her clothes are easy to move in and casual, though some of them actually get her mistaken for a guy. It’s something she’s had to get used to over the years.

Little Doodle

I've mostly been doing art the past days, so I haven't been around here as much since I was doing commissions ( which are open, by the way! info [ HERE ] )

Since I finished them, I decided to do a little sketch of Aria in Misty's vaporeon suit from Pokémon Masters, since Aria's main Pokémon ( when not working at the gym ) is also her Vaporeon!
... It'd probably look better if she actually had any curves though xD
