~History~
His backstory is a complete mystery prior to joining the criminal syndicate. In present day and the events of "Colosseum", Nascour was consulting Cipher's leader, Evice, in Phenac City about personal affairs prior to Wes' arrival in the game's events. As Wes began to intervene in the shadow pokemon project by gradually defeating Cipher's peons located around the region, Nascour spoke with its admins and scolded them for not stopping him until later once Cipher made its territory at the grand Realgam Tower located in the Orre region's desert where he confronted Wes himself briefly. He issued a challenge for him to fight the many trainers there, including rematching the admins before fighting himself at the topside colosseum. Nascour was impressed and was willing to vouch for Wes to become a Cipher showbattle trainer but admitted he is not so kindhearted and began their battle. Even with his shadow pokemon, Nascour was still defeated then demanded a rematch only for the voice of his leader to intervene, causing Nascour to immediately apologize before it lead into Wes fighting Cipher's leader next. Once Evice was beaten, the two were immediately surrounded and about to be arrested but almost as quickly as Evice's escape helicopter arrived it was destroyed by a distant fireball by the legendary Ho-oh who saw the pure heart within Wes which was the reason for it's interference. His fate is unknown upon being apprehended but it's likely he's in confinement somewhere in Orre.

-Team Cipher-
The evil organization's sole purpose is global conquest using brute force via pokemon powered by an evil aura, making them emotionless weapons until caught and purified. Their methods for creating shadow pokemon is unknown aside from observations by people claiming that their "Hearts are closed" so it's unclear if it's physical abuse or corruption by foreign energy. The grunts who make up the majority of Cipher's forces are often given one or two of their own to overpower any targets same for its "Admins" who are likely assigned a more stronger shadow pokemon fitting their rank. It's implied from Nascour's position presently that he rose from the rank of a peon then beyond an admin to later become the right-hand man for it's mastermind. He was allowed to oversee even the other admins like Miror B, Dakim, Venus and Ein. Surpassing Nascour is Cipher's leader, Evice, who also secretly doubled as the innocent mayor "Es Cade" of Phenac City while operating the organization behind the scenes. Apparently the branch of the organization during the events of Colosseum was the home branch located in Orre while its sequel XD suggested that its global branch located elsewhere arrived in its stead.

-Headcanon "Past"-
Prior to his involvement with Cipher, Nascour was but a simple wanderer born and raised in Orre who is fascinated with many things. As a wanderer he has battled many trainers and even participated in local colosseums for the thrill with his partner Metagross. His reputation as a battler got the attention of the evil syndicate's leader who still acted as Phenac's mayor "Es Cade", he was approached one day with the proposition of wealth and a job as his assistant rather than leaving Nascour in the streets. Nascour hesitated but accepted and now lived in Phenac. One day he was given the opportunity by Es Cade to battle individuals unknown to him in a facility deep underground who in fact were using that chance to test run a device for Cipher's creation of shadow pokemon but that wasn't disclosed to Nascour. Said device was an unusual platform fixed in the center of a dome-like arena for battling, his opponent was a Cipher grunt in disguise using their own shadow pokemon but he didn't notice anything odd. He naturally chose his Metagross and the battle went as normal with pokemon on both sides slightly exhausted as it went on, it didn't take long for the device platform to light up and charge, Nascour noticed something was off and rushed to check on Metagross only to get shocked with purplish bolts alongside his pokemon which was meant to inject an unknown energy into the target. Nascour and his Metagross collapsed but Es Cade observing from another room considered the trap a success. Nascour was brought to another room to recover and his Metagross monitored for its progression into a shadow pokemon, causing it gradual violent behavior that even a handful of grunts couldn't control. Since the incident Nascour suffered occasional nightmares involving fits of rage akin to a shadow pokemon's. Even after coming to back at the mayor's house, he foolishly believed Es Cade when he was told soon after that the incident must've been some dream. Nascour would notice a change in his pokemon's behavior during colosseum fights since then and brushed off any random sensation of slight anger during the heat of battle. It was until one day when one of his competitors in Phenac's colosseum happened to be an admin of Cipher, Dakim with his freshly acquired shadow Entei. Despite the uneven matchup, Nascour's pokemon lasted quite a bit against Entei but was slowly being overwhelmed due to type disadvantage. It was then that he slowly succumbed to a moment of rage from the energy inside him thus carrying over to his Metagross while he ordered the attack. Sudden flurries of shadow-based attacks helped in taking down Entei and despite the win, Nascour's personality seemed to change permanently going from the fit of rage to calm and confident. He questioned the rush he just had to which Es Cade approached and exclaimed it's the energy that he just harnessed. Es Cade seemed to have seen potential in him since the handful of battles he watched of his even seeing how his Metagross took down the shadow of an admin with ease. Due to the slow corruption from the shadow energy, Nascour seemed to slowly forget about some of his former life as a wanderer while Es Cade, or now "Evice" after proper introductions, began to show him the ways of the underground organization Cipher to which Nascour happily supported.


~Appearance~

Unlike the rest of Cipher's members other than Evice, Nascour has a natural dark visage about him, looking as if he's naturally emiting a dark aura. He's gaunt, dressed in dark clothes and possesses a wiry, white, serpentine hair including reddish eyes. Despite being just human, it's implied that working with shadow pokemon had some negative influence on his appearance which may explain his ominous presence.

~Personality~

Nascour is rather calm and collective, never losing his cool even in the heat of battle that is unless suffering a big loss. He shows a lot of confidence in his actions such as his eagerness to later want to battle Wes at Realgam Tower after seeing him defeating his underlings.


~Powers & Abilities~

While his appearance might suggest he possesses powers, Nascour is still a normal human who has access to a powerful team of pokemon one of which includes a shadow pokemon given to him.

-Shadow Metagross-

The trump card of his team, the steel/psychic type Metagross which is already known for its tankiness is only further empowered by the dark aura giving a great boost in its attacks especially toward any and all ordinary pokemon landing only "Supereffective" hits. The rest of his preferred pokemon consists of a Blaziken, Alakazam, Gardevoir, Walrein, Dusclops, and Xatu.
