Headcanons & Aus

"Every Day, I Eat, Sleep, &
Kakashi Hatkae
Worry About Stupid Things" ...
HEADCANONS, AU'S AND THINGS

The Inuzuka blood runs through his veins.
1) As most people believe, I have decided to play the part that Kakashi is in fact related to the Inuzuka's clan. As he is always shown to have a strong sense of smell, as well as working with Ninja hounds. It is to my belief that he inhaled these traits from his mother. As the Inuzuka's are the only ones of any clan, who are known to work with dogs in the Konoha village. Do to this fact I believe that Kakashi's mother was related to the Inuzuka's in some way and because of this headcanonly one of the few traits he inherited from his mother, were the canine like fangs that is usually kept hidden behind the mask.

He is still with Sharingan after the war
2) It is known that after the fourth great war Kakashi has officially lost is sharingan eye. However, from my take on things, I have decided to make it where he never does. He does in fact lose it to Madara in the battle, but just before Obito's death at some point along he way when they are having their moment, and Obito tells Kakashi he believes he should be he next Hokage, he is yet again given the second eye as a memento and gift for a future congratulations. It's a pretty common and simple AU but I personally believe he should have never lost it. As it not only made him who he was, but was something dearly important from his childhood friend, that he had left behind.

Sukea mirrored to resemble Rin?
3) As most of us known, Kakashi at some point begins to pick up a disguised known as Sukea, who is a journalist and travels the world. It is shown though his disguise, the look he decides to go with, bares a strong resembles to Rin. From the brown hair, to the purple face tattoo's he decides to wear in order to cover up his scar

Behind the mask. The reason for wearing it
4) As most wonder and question, we all have asked ourselves, why does Kakashi wear the mask and rarely take it off? It is my belief that it was once a traditional thing for any Hatake child to where a mask for various and certain reasons, but once they became of a certain age (Particularly graduating from the academy) They are given the permission to take the mask off. It is my belief that the one time Kakashi does, he is compared to his father and begins to get those nasty looks from the villagers. Even if he isn't Sukumo, the resembles is canonly strong. We as well know that during the past, he is so bitter towards his father and strives to be anything but like his father. Not wishing for the ridicule of the whole village. So it would only make sense for him to continue wearing the mask and keep the similarities hidden away from the world. As he gets older, he begins to become more open and excepting of the fact he looks like his father, but when Kakashi manages to take his mask off once more, he finds himself to grow a fan club or fanboys and fangirls. With the unnecessary attention wanted, he decides to hide his face away from the world and the people in it. At this point Kakashi has become so used to wearing the mask, it has officially become a part of him. He also states at one point it helps with the nose bleeds, and as we see when Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura try to see his face, he prevents them from doing so. I believe he does this, as it is also shown that he not only finds it amusing, but uses it as a means to train the three on their team work. So through the years there are many reasons and factors as to why Kakashi continues to wear the mask. Occasionally I will go off from this headcanon and actually make it where he covers his face for a bizzare reasons. Such as, having a nasty burn, a scar or something else.

Why doesn't he have a family?
5) Kakashi wishes for a family. The thing that keeps him from granting himself one, is the constant fear of failing as a father just as his father had to him.So he often tends to keep away from emotional connections such as dating and having anyone too close, because of how his father was treated and what he has been through. It is not to say though, that he will never open up to the idea of finally having one..

Endless nightmares & PTSD
6) As this is pretty much canon, it is unknown whether or not Kakashi still has his nightmares after a certain point in he season or continues to have them. For me, it is an endless thing every night. Although it doesn't happen as often, he does get them, which often causes him to have restless nights and the reason why he is so late to getting places occasionally. Apart from visiting the memorial stone being one of those reasons. And as with most trauma's, Kakashi's come with PTSD. Often whenever he is found needing to impale someone with his Chidori, or even something remotely similar, even from seeing anyone who remotely resembles Rin. It causes the attacks from the past to arise, and in those crucial moments, is when Kakashi is at his most vulnerable.

In an alternate universe
7) I believe if Gai never requested for Kakashi to be a jonin teacher when falling down the wrong path, he would have continued to fall towards the darker side of the path. Closing his heart and himself off to anyone and everyone. It is to my belief, had Gai not come along and been an optimistic light for Kakashi and a reason, that he would have continued to go down the wrong path. In doing so would have at some point landed him with the Akatsuki's. Whether for his own gain or something else. Nearly following the same path Sasuke had taken when being set on revenge towards the village, though in Kakashi's case it would have been towards the fact they had run his father to his death and had even used Rin as a sacrificial holder to the jinchuriki. It is this reason he saw himself in Sasuke, and was so eager to train the boy under his wing personally. That in hopes he wouldn't fall down the wrong path, just as he once had. This AU is particularly played only in darker stories, or ones that take a different twist on things.

He has OCD, and is a bit of a clean freak
8) Based on the one episode where he is shown peeling an orange, it is to my belief that he is OCD or something. As he even states "I am very particular to things like this." When being told he was peeling it rather carefully, and a bit slow. Because of that, I can picture and see him having OCD to the point he has to have certain things perfect. Or perhaps even is a clean freak, with making something look perfect. Having raised himself, with doing all the chores and cooking it would make sense.

Watching over the Uzumaki child
9) I can picture in an alternate universe where Kakashi was actually there off and on for Naruto growing up. Having been given the mission to protect Kushina, after her and minato's death, his mission would have went to protecting Naruto. Often watching over the boy and doing his best to make sure he was living healthy and kept safe. Mainly playing a huge part in the blonde's life. But because Kakashi was dealing with his own despair and demons, it wasn't often he came around, but he would try for Minato's wishes and to actually give himself a purepose in life.

These are all he head canons and AUs I can remember myself having so far. The last one is still being fixed up with how exactly in detail his PTSD strikes, but apart from that, more will eventually be added in the near future.
