Purifiers - Kiseki

Since the beginning of the Purifiers, the Tree of Life has been the center of the Kazoku. The symbol of which they based their entire lifestyle on. As the Purifiers deepened their bond to the great demon tree, they were altered in ways that even other members of their clan could not expect. With each generation that past the ways the Purifers used their abilities evolved to conquer new and every shifting changes. What never changed was that the Purifers remained the only branch capable of not only destroying a demons essence but converting it into celestial particles as did the Tree of Life with their Sacred Light.

The Purifiers have from the very beginning represented the sentinel force of the Kiseki. Those who stood guard at the compound directly and where the primary frontline soldiers of the clan. Because their Sacred Light draws the attention of the demons themselves they have the most direct combat experience of any member most often than not having to fight multiple groups of demons by themselves whenever venturing out.

With the birth of the 4th generation came changes so unexpected that they almost seem like a completely different class. While the first and second generation chose to forgo the use of their secondary elements to attain the purest of Light, the 4th began to manifests light with elemental properties to them, as well as communicate with the Tree of Life. Ice and light became a freezing moon beam while fire and light became concentrated heat which could pierce even the hardest of armor. Water and light was thicker and moved with a fluidity that was unnatural, while earth gave light a such mass that one could shape buildings out if them and never lose luster. Only a few ways that the Elementals could use these new powers.

No longer possessing knowledge of the past the items used by former Purifers no longer functioned like they used to and new mutations allowed all Purifiers to perform their jobs more efficiently. The rituals which traded blood with the Tree of Life now caused the Purifiers to lose all emotion and feeling in their bodies. They became solely focused on attaining enlightment and spreading their light to all corrupted beings. This focus allowed them to suffer what would normally be crippling injures as minor annoyances while they enacted justice upon the darkness of chaos. Their blood became so saturated with light and celestial particles that any cuts on their flesh sparked with the light of stars.

Abilties:

Hikaru no Kami aka Sacred Light: Light that has been saturated with celestial particles becomes divine in nature cleansing all that it comes across. As the purest form of rejection of anything corrupting it psychically attracts all demons within a certain range of the Purifer. The attraction creates a ravenous hunger reminiscent of the Tree of Life causing all lower rank demons to go berserk while higher rank ones vary in how influenced they are. In the case of multiple Purifiers being in one spot the demons are innately attracted to the strongest of group first splitting off to the others if they can not get to their target.

Essence Purification and Conversion: The core of the Purifers lies in their innate ability to use their light and celestial particles to purifiy the corrupted essence of a demon and convert it into celestial particles. Given the ravenous nature of the Tree of Life once a purification process has begun it will not stop until the entire being is converted leaving nothing else behind. It emphasizes their hatred and total rejection of the demonic influence at birth. This doesn't stop though at just demonic essence. Any matter or energy saturated in their light will also be taken over by their aggressive celestial particles and be converted making their power dangerous to the environment if not properly controlled.

Guardian's Blessing: Using the Light within their own bodies the Purifers creates a reactive shield over their bodies that hardens their skin to lessen the impact of attacks.  Tattoos or ritualistic holes in the body were used to allow their light to more easily release from their bodies which would create a sensory field which once cross would harden the area being blocked by their light.

Pain Nullification: Because of the constant state of mediation the Purifiers are in they are able to nullify all aspects of pain. Even the loss of a limb can not sway them from their objective of slaying demons. This coupled with the State of Rage which they can induce can turn them into unfeeling beasts on the battlefield willing to sacrifice life and limb without hesitation.

The Shades of Nature: Because of the mutations created during the blood transferring rituals with the Trrr of Life, the secondary element granted to the Purifers is forcefully blended with their light. As light is the purest form of energy and the direct opposition to darkness, their own bodies sought to find a way to enhance that weapon. This allows their light to take on aspects of natures elements it would not normally have. This allows their attacks to retain their speed while also providing interesting an unexpected results. This also prevents those with immunities to specific elements such as light or fire to be overridden as as their light is their own.

Mugen Kiseki V2

Name: Mugen "Darien" Kiseki
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Species: Cyberized Humanoid
Height: Six Feet
Weight: 300 pounds

Bio: The second Mugen born to the Kiseki clan who directly inherited the soul of his previous host. The previous host was a pillar of the scientific community on Caedo creating many of the planet's weapons and defenses himself using his history as a living god like weapon. Using knowledge gathered over millennia Mugen created technology unseen throughout many dimensions. However his past as an elemental weapon of mass destruction plagued him his entire life and many questions still remained unanswered for him. Realizing there was a loss of excitement in living as an immortal elemental he thought to do what many gods did and create life instead of destroying it. Much more than that he wanted to create the perfect form of life and in his mind the only thing that made humanoids imperfect was the vulnerability of their bodies and the fear of the unknown.

Thus Mugen created the Infinity Gear. A machine capable of designing life with infinite potential and adaptability. Little did he know that this idea was implanted by radiation from the same Shard of the Library that infected the World Tree of the Kyoto Kiseki. Granted universal knowledge the blueprint for this new form of life was a fusion of nano-cellular technology and alchemic runs so that he could direct his spirit and energy into every cell in the being he would create. As such the abilities he would inherit theoretically would match the original and they do, however because the Shard was infected, the concept of Cross Grave was implanted into the Shard and Mugen was given the Godseed and granted psychic powers as well.

However, Mugen had created the Infinity outside along a pocket dimension located within the Celestial Realm. Upon his death, which would become the catalyst that would activate the Infinity Gear, his soul transferred over to the singular nano-cell which would be used to create themain body. That way he would grow to know the inserted soul as its own from the moment it would become aware. Once he had fully developed he was given instructions on how to open the gate which would bring him to the material world. He would have to learn how to use his spirit to link back with the other Kiseki if he desired. Though he had the original Mugen's soul, he was his own person.

As such even he was compelled to find his family and discover what he was, in order to find his path and purpose. Five years would pass before he had mastered his abilities enough to open a portal through the Celestial Realm again and find his kin but how would they respond to their resurrected brother. Plague by memories of his past life and the spirit of his former self, Mugen is forced to confront the differences in himself as well as a hidden desire to disrupt the natural order.

Powers and Abilities:

Like all Kiseki, Mugen was destined to choose a path between light and darkness and like his former self graced the path of Light. His natural biology based on designs of his former self granted him a mastery over electricity in all it's forms which worked in tandom with his nano cells to create an constant shift in his own electromagnetic waves to cycle between that of his environment to grant him a sort of indefinite power source. This system allowed him to function consciously 24 hours a day should he desire.

The psychic powers which manifested from the imprint of Cross Grave upon the original Mugen manifested primarily in a telekinetic fashion being that he was already influenced by the telepathic abilities the Kiseki shared with each other. This allowed his artificial Goddeed to focus almost entirely on telekinesis and being artificial limit its potential to a specific style. This being Tactile Telekinesis. With that he is not only subconsciously protected by a barrier of telekinetic energy but it enhances all his physical attributes to superhuman levels even without celestial particle or spirit influence.

Kiseki Spirit: Fenrir the Chimera

Though this is indeed the original spirit of the original Mugen, it has succumbed to a type of change which reflected Mugen's own shifting abilities. Manifesting as a great wolf it allowed Mugen to become a living storm who commanded the harshest of nature's elements. To reflect the change in Mugen, the wolf became something more, claws of a tiger, wings of an eagle, the body of an bear, with scales of an alligator and serpents tail. All but its Aura had changed, a true mirror to what Mugen had become in his long absence from his family.

The Nanocells which make up the entirety of Mugen's body are complex adaptive bio-machines able to survive off the smallest amount of energy. Analyzing and recording data constantly they reconstruct to adjust to their environment or Mugen's will. Mugen is able to manipulate every cell with his mind allowing him the ability to shapeshift though how well and how long depends on various factors. Each cell carries a matter/energy convertor which allows him to use anything and everything for energy. As a perfect being meant to explore universes he would need to be able to survive in any environment.

Though made as living perpetual generator there is a limit to how much energy his cells can process and manipulate free until he further masters his powers which is no easy feat. Without a proper understanding of the Infinity Gear Mugen is unable to access the memories of his past freely though he believes this was by design of his former self.

Spellcraft Arseniks: Combat Magic

Sykk is what's known as a natural sage, or Spellsmith. His instinctual ability to manipulate natural forces means he has little need to learn spells and instead uses pure imagination to craft spells on the spot. Of course that isn't to say Sykk hasn't mastered known spells from various universes he has been to, but by crafting the spells in the moment their nature is pure and at its strongest level.

Augmentations-

Coat of Arms, Mystic Touch: A spell taken from the monks of the Grey Lotus who protected China from supernatural threats. The technique requires tattooing ones skin in holy markings which bond to the persons soul. It takes the persons spiritual and magical power and channels it into physical energy. However because it is a technique born of magik it counts as both.

Breath of the Riftwalker: This spell channels spacetime into a gate rune which causes one to temperarily step into the realm of the Clockwork Engine which exists outside time. One accelerates their own time causing them to move at speeds up to light speed. One can only do this for a few seconds or run the risk of affecting their own timeline and increasing their age.

Ballistics-

Arcane Auto Arc: A series of magik circles appear along the wrist and forearm which channels arcane energy into concentrated shells. Requiring that the index, pinky, and thumb are extended and pointing at the target, the Blue Hunters of Meridia assassinate and protect their realm from daemons. This spell can be altered for single shot, beams, a blasts ach having their own ring.

Shadehunters Bow: Another hand spell learned from special unit within the Blue Hunters known as the Wolves of Malice, once Sykk extends his middle and ring fingers while closing the others, a bow of shadow and bloodlust is summoned from Meridia's Vault. Part of a set of eight Sykk actually draws on thr leaders bow, won after his defeat at a game of cat and mouse.

Eye of Horus: Sykk creates floating runes which he controls which draws in different forms of light and concentrate it into laser shots which have various affects based on the color of light that it draws in. Useful for creating flanking and trap situations the shots arent meant to cause fatal damage alone without hitting vital points.

Conceptual-

House of Mirrors, Festival of Nightmares: As the name implies, this spell uses hardlight projections to induce fear within a target matching that which terrifies them most and make those fears real. This spell manifests as a dome of runes in the shape of mirrors which draw in light from the outside to create hardlight projections. A secondary set of runes smaller than the first reside within center of the outer rune which read the mind of an opponent making the reflections match what it reads from the opponent. Once an opponent acknowledges the projection as real it is given life and functions as a being of itself. Once real these being possess the same abilities as their true counterpart but lack the ability to grow in strength further than how strong the person believes it is. On the chance there is nothing the person fears, the construct become loved ones driven mad.

Agents of  Chaos, Sins of the Father: Sykk summons avatars of the Seven Sins which draw power from their enemy based on their sins. This spell is particularly useful against villainous individuals because the avatars can draw more power from them. This spell is designed to allow enemies to break under the weight of their crimes using whatever tactics necessary to destroy their will to fight. Each avatar has a rune which draws in the brain waves specifically dealing with the sins they are associated with and use the information to change themselves. As the Avatars grow in power they begin to distort reality permanently taking in aspects of their target's sin. Based on the sin devoured, the target will suffer various debuffs.

Defensive-

True Aspect of the "Moon" : One of Sykk's favorite spells is actually the combination of three runic rings which have different functions based on the phases of the moon. Aspect of the New Moon, the first rune ring uses both ambient energy from the environment and his conceptual energy and gathers it to a single point. The Half Moon ring shapes it into a dome shield of unstable conception. The purpose of this is that any enegy which collides with it is read, and once read the conceptual energy is converted into an inverse version of the energy it came in contact with. Mirroring the wavelength but remaining under the will of the Sykk. The Full Moom ring causes the energy to be thrown backwards towards the origin of the opposing energy at double the force. The phases can be skipped and manipulated depending on the need for the energy. The entire cycle can occur in a fraction of a second.

Revolving Kinetic Ring: This spell creates a set of runes which form a ring around Sykk which moves around him at immense speeds creating a barrier which converts potential energy with kinetic that repels most conventional attacks. The defensive power of the spell is doubled when Sykk is in motion.

Ultimate Defense Bastion of Light: This is a complex set of runic spells meant for protection and assault. Starting off as just one seal, as it takes on attacks more seals build from residual compounding energy forming patterns. The patterns make other seals constantly evolving and expanding on the spell. Once it has blocked enough damage, it becomes an offensive spell keeping the user safe from all directions with offensive capabilities matching the same range.

Blacklist-

Forbidden Arte Black Petals Falling- Anti-Force: The very nature of Nothing manifested as a physical, trans-dimensional, and conceptual energy. Only used in the event of multi-universe destruction, this installs the very though of Nothing into being within a given target. Simply put, whatever is hit with this ceases to be. Erased from every aspect of existence. Only a tale remains recorded within the Library given no name remains yet without a name none can know. Sykk has seen he is responsible for the death of millions yet is tormented because he can't remember who it is. The origin of this spell is unknown and the only one he inherited once he bonded with the Library.

The Grave Family

Story: The fates of the Grave family reside in six seperate universes known as the System, a closed off set of universes created by the Architect. These universes include War of Hearts and Dragons, Rose Wing, Project: Godseed, Muramasa: Legacy of the Blacksmith, World of Beasts and Legacy of Knowledge. All these universes are of my creation stemming from over 12 years of writing.

Guess I should start at the beginning....

Cross Grave represents the natural law of Entropy within these worlds. A mathematical anomoly which functions as a constant glitch in the System, showing up and creating ways for the inhabitants to change in unpredictable ways. Those belonging to the Grave family directly decended from Cross have the potential of bringing about the collapse of the System yet the failsafe of the Library and other Divine Regalia usually prevent such an event.

File 117TH03: War of Hearts and Dragons

The first of the worlds created by the Architect was War of Hearts and Dragons. A medieval realm ruled by the Twelve Dragon Gods. The first Cross Grave spawned as a knight known as Galdok. An orphan with the strange power to absorb sunlight and empower his body, who suddenly appeared within the Kingdom of Veilstone. At the age of five he became a thief and attempted to rob the kingdom's greatest swordsmen Hiro, of his most prized sword which was intended for the king. Instead of putting him to death for such a crime Hiro pleaded with the king to have Galdok become his student recognizing his hair and eyes as part of an ancient prophecy passed on from his ancestors. His granddaughter Seereon Aetherion also part of the prophecy as the woman who would become his wife and help Galdok save the kingdom.

The Kingdom of Veilstone was plagued by constant demon attacks as it represented a beacon of Light and Hope, and was one of the few human settlements which rebelled against the tyranical rule of the Twelve Dragon Gods. For years Hiro trained both Galdok and Seereon knowing their union would be the one hope their world would have for the coming darkness. Galdok was a rather troublesome child who refused to listen to anyone other than Hiro leaving Seereon to apologize for the pranks he would pull on he guards. It wasnt until he was eight that he actually spoke to anyone. As childish as he was Hiro found that training kept him busy and he could sense an ever growing desure to fight within him. Almost to the point of bloodlust.  until they were the best knights in the whole kingdom but it was then their greatest threat arose going by the name of the Bahamut the Black. The prophecy spoke of an eater of hearts who would plunge the world into Darkness unless the Heart Pieces of the Twelve Dragon Gods were gathered into the legendary blade Fangless.

Galdok and Seereon set out to slay those rumored to be the weakest of the Twelve Dragon Gods. The one of Flame, Water, Ice, Lightning, Stone, and Wind. The skills of Hiro the Sword Saint were known across all the Twelve Realms and the Beyond, and Galdok was a fast learner. The slaying of the first few Dragon Gods came rather easy for him but humans weren't supposed to have the natural power he did.  With every Heart Piece collected he gained the power of the element the Dragon God used and liberated their respective realm from tyranic rule and slavery. Little did they suspect that with every dragon slain, Bahamut absobed half their soul to recieve their power over the elements.

The first time Galdok and Seereon met Bahamut was on their return from slaying the Thunder Dragon God. By this time six of the dragons had already been slain. Taking the form of an a black undead dragon Bahamut assasulted Veilstone laying waste to the entire kingdom. By the time the two showed up most of the knights and villagers were dead and Hiro was severely injured. Thanks to an enchanted arrow Seereon was able to poison Bahamut, forcing him to flee. As the kingdom began to rebuild they were faced with a hard truth, without Galdok and Seereon, they would not survive. But in order to save the world from obliteration, they had to leave and follow their destiny. It was the hardest thing for either of them to do but their final farewells were memorable.

The next Dragon God on the list held mastery of earth and life and was notorious for his cruelty against all creatures that weren't plants, and also one of the strongest and oldest of the twelve. Traveling to his realm lead the knights through dense jungles filled with carnivorous and prehistoric plant life pitting them against nature itself. Arriving to the realm of the God, Galdok's confidence was used against him placing him in a trap designed specifically for him. If it wasnt for Seereon's connection to the Fae King who sent his armies to help Seereon bind the God long enough to free Galdok and kill him the two would not have survived. It was the first time her true power was revealed and when she started to recieve visions of her death. Fearful of distracting Galdok from his mission she kept this secret while their journey continued.

Located within the Earth God's realm was a secret portal which would transport the two to the realm of the Mind and Power Dragon Gods. These Gods were unique in which they shared realms and were in constant struggle for control for the land. Many human lives were lost in their ruthless wars only to have the two gods duke it out until they wore each other out. The portal transported them directly to the center of the Collisium where the two Gods were preparing for a final strike to see if one would rise victorious. Paying the knights no mind the Gods chargrd and landed devasting blows on each other. Had they chose to acknowledge him they wouldnt have been easily dispatched in their weakened states. However lucky for Galdok, he was able to score two pieces of Heart after almost dying from the Earth Dragon. This was considered a gift yet spelled ruin for those close to Galdok.

The two liberated all the gladiator slaves and proceeded to the realm of Metal, governed by the Metal Dragon God. His realm was ran by technology far ahead of anything else in the world and the God himself actually resided in a seperate dimension altogether. It took days to discover how to sneak into the throne room of the God but all of it was for naught as the knights were brought to the dimensiom by an unknown force which they believed to be the God himself. Little did they expect that it was Hiro who had summoned them after slaying the God himself, a feat once thought impossible for a normal human. Seereon rushed to her grandfathers side excited to see him after they had been gone for months. However her happiness was cut short once Galdok pointed his blade at his master.

It was then she realized the dark aura which surrounded the smiling old man. In his free hand he had a box which harbored the final two dragon Heart pieces from the Light and Dark gods. When they questioned where he recieced them he was quick to reveal Bahamut had granted him power unlike any others and was prepared to kill them to take their pieces. It was clear he was being controlled by the Demon Lord and they had no way to free him, even with the power of the Mind Heart. Hiro told them the only way to stop him was to kill him and after a fierce fight lasting hours, the old warrior regained enough of his mind to halt himself for Galdok to bring a fatal strike to him. His dying breath was spent revealing Seereon's ultimate fate of dying in the final battle but with all the heart pieces Galdok felt confident he could save the world and the woman he loved.

Once all twelve pieces were placed inside Fangless, Galdok assumed it would become the weapon of legend needed to slay Bahamut. However Fangless seemed unchanged other than the normal boost it recieved on each heart piece. Using the power of the Metal God and his control of technology he returned with Seereon to the normal world only to return to a land filled with total ruin. What was hours to them was years in the real world and everything they knew was gone. Monsters, the undead, and demons ran rampant and signs of humanity seemed all but lost. The sun was eclipsed the entire time they made their trek back to Veilstone. Once they returned Bahamut made a point to signal his location residing in the castle. Smug upon the throne he had conquered many months ago the two noticed how he had transformed.

File 15JR07: Rose Wing

The second of the worlds created by the Architect was Rose Wing in which Cross who's true name was Charabel, was the Archangel of Chaos guarding the very nature of Chaos throughout the universe. Chaos was persona created by the Sleeping God who ruled the material plane before the Sleeping God grew tired of the Darkness. When the Sleeping God dreamt of a universe Chaos was sealed away and subjected to Fist of Order. Before the War of Transgression Charabel discovered Lucifers plan to lead a rebellion against the Sleeping God through a vision. In an attempt to stop the event which would certainly destroy the heavens Charabel committed the most dire of taboos and stole the Wrath of God (also known as Chaos) branding himself with the Mark of Chaos to become powerful enough to Rend Lucifer from the Sleeping God's memory. What he didnt realize was that the Chaos was a seperate entity from the Sleeping God and in taking its Mark, became a slave to its will and fate.

When the War of Transgression began Charabel stood alongside the other arch-angels on the frontline and went straight for Lucifer. Many had died, and those who did not were eternally scarred and through his new found power Cross ended the lives of most of the rebellious angels on his own. This granted him the title of Wing Reaver. It wasn't long before he stood before Lucifier and prepared to unleash his full might upon him when the Sleeping God woke up just for a moment to stop him from delivering the final blow. With one word the War had stopped and according to the Word of God, Charabel was taken prisoner by his brethern and sealed away in the deepest pit of Heaven.

Found guily of betraying the Sleeping God by those he fought and bled for, Charabel was exiled to Earth to live for eternity as the herald of destruction who would forever suffer the sins of man and the burden of their judgement. It was then that Chaos revealed itself to him claiming his true destiny was to restore Chaos to its throne of power ruling the material realm as it had done so before the seperation of Light from Darkness. Reluctant to serve Cross spent his time spreading chaos and disorder throughout the world of man, even watching Adam as he took the Fruit of Knowledge. His worst action, possesing the solider who killed christ. Using his own weapon, the Spear of Destiny which he used as an Archangel.

It wasnt until 2000 years after the death of Christ that everything had changed. Lucifer, now known as Satan made a bet with the Sleeping God for the fate of all mankind. The Sleeping God would choose one human, who would be without sin , who Satan would do everything in his power to corrupt. Should he succeed the human announce Satan as their Lord, then all humans souls who still had yet to be judged would belong to him. With all of those he would have the power to ascend back to heaven and kill the Sleeping God. Confident in his creation the Sleeping God agreed and thus Rosette Fairchild was born.

From the start, her life was plagued by tragedy and tribulation. A complicated birth took the life of her mother and at the age of five lost her father in a gang shooting. Her entire childhood she knew only loss and pain and yet she still remained faithful and pure. The angels had their doubts yet they were forbidden from directly interfering in her life so they came to the only being who could help, Charabel himself. The irony not lost on them in the least.

Witnessing humanity's faults and scarred by his kins betrayal, Charabel had no love for God's favored. Now angels weren't directly related to each other yet there were those who shared close relations with each other and to convince Charabel to help the archangels sent their greatest weapon against him. Luxia, the Fist of Order. She was his opposite, his twin, the one who's betrayel cut deepest . In order to appeal to the softer side he once had she willingly sacrificed her status as an Archangel and took on the life of a mortal with divine grace. Instantly Charabel tried to kill her and a fight between the two as well as Michael and Gabriel broke out luring Rosette as well as a group of demons to the ally they were in. After having to save her, Charabel found himself strangely attracted to the girl and finally agreed to protect her though his reasons remained unknown.

Satan sent his best to destroy the angels and kidnap Rosette intending to go a step further and make her his bride. Without anyone's knowledge Lucifer sent his eldest son to pose as Rosette's best friend only to have him betray her in her most dire of moments to convince her to abandon her faith in God. After months of being around each other, Rosette fell in love with Charabel and though he had developed feelings for her, he could now allow himself to be deterred from his one goal.

Things became shakey once the identity of her best friend was revealed and Charabel was forced to kill him in his human state right infront of Rosette. Feeling lost and overcome by what she thought was betrayel she was then tempted by Satan to perform a ritual which would summon him and his armies to Earth.

War broke out in the streets of New York and the society was torn apart. Little did anyone suspect, Michael and Gabriel had betrayed their kin, joining forces with Satan in an attempt to become Gods themselves. The only thing standing in the way of an early Apocalypse was Charabel and Seereon. While Seereon prayed to the Sleeping God for help Charabel went into battle becoming the monster he had always thought he was. When the dust settled, Charabel stood over the broken bodies of his brothers prepared to kill them all, only to be stopped by Rosette who pleaded for him to be merciful and restore the balance God had set up.

Fueled by raged he turned his eyes towards the very Gates of Heaven and attempted to pry them open by force because he had lost his faith in everything and decided if anyone should rule it should be him. Gathering enough power to tear the very universe apart Charabel ascended to heaven though Seereon stood in his way pleading for him stop. He easily pushed passed her colliding with the ethereal gates releasing the chaotic energy he accumulated over the entire history of earth. No other angel could even get near him and it seemed Charabel would succeed until the Sleeping God awoke just for a moment to strike him down sending him plummeting back to the surface. Rosette saw this and attempted to catch him as he fell completely ignoring the fact such a thing would surely kill her. However just before he fell on her Seereon possessed her body giving her angellic strength enough to catch him.

Failing at his attempted takeover Charabel spent the next month with Rosette who nursed him back to health who suddenly professed her love for him and promised to stay by his side for as long as she lived. Charabel agreed to personally protect her until her soul would one day return to heaven.
