The King
King Kojo Corruption
"It all started that night, the night lives were lost. Black, and orange fur stained with crimson blood. We were nothing. We weren't important. We were no one. We were outcasts. Betrayed by one of our own"
It all started in a cold dark den. Placed in the middle of chaos. A brave young teen lioness began giving birth to a litter of cubs. Her mellowed screams echoed through the sun lit lands. She was alone. No mate by her side, and no hope in her heart. Stolen of her innocence at a young age. Her orange optics rolled back inside her head. Her panting grew heavier as she pushed. The lovely lioness pushed, and pushed. Finally loud noises emerged from under her. The first cub gazed up into her beautiful golden eyes. She smiled for she knew this was her mother. The lioness licked the top of her head. A pain shot through her, and she begin to push once more.
The light outside was now dark. The only light was the bright moon. That shone in the night starry sky. Her fur was wet, and dirty. The lioness pushed, and pushed. Finally 2 hours past, and the lioness gave birth to another cub. His fur was black like his father's. This saddened the young mother. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she stared at the young little being.
"I will name you Kojo"
The female spoke with a calm tone. She made herself bath the cub. Before looking away from him with saddened eyes. Kojo crawled over to his mom grabbing her leg. The lioness pulled away slightly. Kojo teared up, and lay down near his sister.
"I feel hated..."
The cub thought to himself. He did not understand why his mother was treating him so cold.
Growing up without a father. Kojo still grew strong,and became a loner. He was a feisty cub always running off, and starting trouble in the near by prides. His mother frowned upon his behavior. She always treated his sister better then him. It seemed she was more tough on Kojo.
Finally he aged into a handsome young male. The sun beaming down upon his golden mane. He smiled, and walked down the line of pride members. He was finally becoming King. His mother had no say in the matter. He was the only male heir. She acted supportive of her only son.
Kojo's sister Kalisha hated him becoming king. She frowned in the corner in the darkness. Gazing upon her brother with a heart full of hatred. She wanted revenge, and to kill her only brother.
Kalisha wen't to the rival pride nearby. Bargaining with the king Adisa. The only way he let her live was mating with her. Kalisha agreed, and mated with the rival. He agreed to have war upon her pride. In return sparing her life.
They attacked with no hesitation. Tearing apart the pride piece by piece. Kojo watched in horror. He was a new king, and was frightened. Bravely he begin to fight back. He saved many, but his mother's life was lost. By none other then Adisa.
He laughed as they retreated. Kalisha's eyes grew wide. Seeing her mother's lifeless corpse. This was all her fault. She cried over her mother's body.
"I am sorry mother...I didn't mean for this to happen"
Kojo stood over his sister. Hearing her words.
"You did this!!"
Kalisha frightened backed away
"Leave and NEVER return sister!!"
She did as she was told, and ran away
Kojo knew his duty as king, and became tough. Hardening his heart.
Born in a world of hatred
Sibling Rivalry
His gentle heart slowly turned into hatred
Kojo after the betrayal of his sister. Closed himself inside a bubble of hatred. His heart turned black, and no longer beat with kindness. He hated his sister for betraying his family. In her stupidity they lost the life of their mother Nubia.
