Tao is part of the kaka clan, a race of cats that were originally used as weapons against the Black Beast. Tao was selected to be the protector of her village, but due to traveling with Ragna the Bloodedge, her role was taken over by another Kaka. Tao has a equal love of food and large breasts. She does give people nicknames, but seems to know who people are talking about, even without her nicknames.
