About me: TL;DR:
✯ Adam: An unshakable exorcist with a heart of silver or thereabout. He's prone to tease those he truly likes, but for all intents and purposes he's married to the Church.
✯ Aaron: An antagonistic, immature dogboy with an ego the size of the sun. He looks distinctly feminine but rarely acts the part.

「𝓦𝓱𝓸?」♪
✯ The eldest of three questionably related siblings, Adam's Irish Catholic upbringing had a tremendous impact on the kind of man he became. His unruly, younger half-brother and step-brother taught him patience, restraint, and pity for the less fortunate. His (occasionally blind) faith informed his unusual passion for helping others, his interest in the supernatural, and his unwavering confidence. He was lucky enough to be born into an upper middle class household and didn't want for much as a kid.
「𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽?」
✯ Fast forward a couple of decades and Adam—now given the name Robin—is an initiate of Lux Purgatio, a branch of the Vatican specializing in exorcisms. This priest-turned-monster-hunter speaks English and Latin at a native level, he's fluent in E̵̓ͅl̵̲̚d̵̦̕r̶̥̊ȋ̶͇t̶̤̆c̴̘̔h̷̠͐ and Infernal, and he's well on his way to understanding Ghost (Simplified). True to their branch's name, initiates are taught to manipulate light to further the Church's goals.
✯ Robin excels at healing himself and others, he's capable of [rework pending! - 12/22/23]. The ability to bend light well enough to see in near-total darkness, mental resistance against the forces of darkness, and a handful of other abilities are mandatory for his sect. His brethren are capable of using light in others ways like creating hard light structures, rendering enemies blind by preventing light from reaching their eyes, and so on. What they all have in common is the uncommon sense necessary to challenge otherworldly beings.
✯ If her head spins 270 degrees too many, he'll set it right. If something won't stop levitating your furniture, he'll get to the bottom of it. And if it doesn't belong in this world, he'll send it to wherever it belongs.
Just be ready to pay up when all's said and done. The Vatican isn't a charity, you know.
「𝓐𝓷𝓭?」
✯ Height: 6'1". Weight: 170 lbs. Eye color: artists can't seem to agree! Just look at those profile pictures.
✯ It isn't obvious, but there's a fairly chiseled physique hidden under his clothes. Rock hard abs, solid pecs, well-defined calves and thighs — but his arms are nothing to write home about. Channeling magic through them on a regular basis burns through fat and muscle like you wouldn't believe.
✯ He can be aggravatingly self-confident, but this is not to be confused with arrogance, an exaggerated estimation of one's capabilities. An example of the latter: "You could never beat me in a million years!" And the former: "So you collapsed a building over our heads in a desperate attempt to force a stalemate. Surely you're aware that I can just heal myself until emergency personnel dig us out..? Ah, yes, I imagine it must be difficult for you to respond with a perforated lung — do take your time."
✯ Mankind holds dominion over everything under heaven: beasts, ghosts, you name it. If your character is anything other than human, expect some measure of pity and well-intentioned condescension from Adam.
✯ Most people wouldn't be caught dead in a sleeveless, pinstripe shirt, but having a black, waist-length robe to cover it works wonders. The gold trim certainly doesn't hurt either.
✯ So what if most characters people aren't as intelligent as he is? He'll never hold that against anyone.
✯ Even for a priest, he can come across as preachy at times.
✯ From a distance, you might never guess that his white pants are actually pantaloons thanks to the brown, leather boots that reach up to his knees. Believe it or not, these were in fashion back when they were mandated as part of Lux Purgatio's dress code.
✯ Sure, he tries to be a decent person, but he won't hesitate to grab a brick and dislocate a demon's jaw with it to keep himself alive. He can't do the world any good if he's dead, now, can he?
「𝓦𝓱𝓸?」♪
The greatest vigilante this world has ever seen! Standing at an impressive five feet, seven inches tall, this dogboy lives a life of ease by day and catches criminals by night. Since he isn't officially a hero, and thus doesn't earn a salary, Aaron gets by on the loot that's carried by the felons he catches. He's a hero in the eyes of villains, a lawbreaker in the eyes of heroes, and Zapcat—much to his chagrin—to the media. (How can they not tell he's a canine?! It's so obvious..! And for the record, his vigilante name is Shockdog.)
His abilities include:
• Dog-like reflexes
• An enhanced sense of hearing and smell
• Canine agility
• And the power to generate and control electricity! All thematically appropriate.
「𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽?」
Some say he's antagonistic, full of himself, gullible, unabashedly specist, and so airheaded it's a wonder he doesn't float, but those people don't know what they're talking about!
In reality he's:
• A good boy (Yes, he is!)
• Super smart (An online IQ test proves it! He got a 93 and everything... That's an A!)
• The cutest guy you'll ever meet (How could you say no to those puppy eyes???)
• Woke as f*** (Cats are a menace to society! Being a cat should be punishable by death. They should turn themselves in at the nearest police station and- hey, stop! Gimme the mic back!)
「𝓦𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮?」
When he isn't giving impassioned public speeches, running from local law enforcement, sleeping the day away, or preemptively stalking random civilians potential criminals, he can be found in the same general area as your character. How convenient! They should meet up sometime.
