"A shattered soul can go from the void back to reality...perhaps another human is better suited for this than me." Mature 18+ Gore, violence and yes cursing. :P
Eyes: Brown ( Hers eyes glow golden when she travels through the void)
Hair: Brown
Temperament:Calm, serious, and at times very laid back.
Tattoos: Multiple (Too lazy to edit them in. Maybe one day. XD)
Markings: A large scar on her chest that continues to bleed. Once the blood hits the ground it turns to ashes.
Random: She is the only known surviving human with a shattered soul, hence why only monsters can see the scar on her chest...if she allows them to. She is very intelligent, but rarely shows it.
Long ago there was a large group of humans who had special powers. Many labeled them as demons and Satan's children. In truth they were just humans with special gifts. They were hung and burned at the stakes for being different. In those times they turned to hide away and become the 'normal' Powers hidden away until they were needed. Monsters, creatures like skeletons, humanoid lizards and fish, furries such as rabbits, wolves, dogs. Each different in the own began coming out from the shadows. Humans despised such creatures and in turn wanted them sealed away. Humans turned to the magic users who created a pact to seal them away in a mountain. A battle sprung out between the two different worlds. Humans winning over the monsters. Sealing the creatures away under a large mountain for eternity.
Years later and the war ended up becoming a simple children's tale. Stories of the war were just that, stories. Humans have forgotten about the Monsters and seen them as everyday horror movies, and simple decorations. Even created characters out of them. However the magic still remained. Humans named themselves Wiccans, Witches, Warlocks and the like. Only true descendants carried the true powers of magic.
One of the humans that had true magic was a young woman named Kaya. She was simple woman standing 5'5, brown hair and brown eyes. Nothing special on the outside, but after the years of pain and misery and struggle she found out exactly what she was. At first it felt like a dream to her. Awakening in a different world through the darkness. She found herself drawing such strange creatures and keeping them to herself. Her friends thought she had gone mad with imagination when seeing her drawings. The creatures in the simple black and white seemed far to realistic looking to be fake.
Kaya lives her life like any normal human being. She has a few friends who accept her weirdness and oddities. She is able to travel through the shadows, which she has labeled as the void. She stumbled upon this gift when she was having nightmares. Her body seemed to be dragged into a dark place and she would awake in another. Each place different, but the monsters treated her the same. They either didn't trust her, wanted her dead, or wanted to keep her safe. She was the only known human left to have the special powers to break the barrier. She has yet see the barrier, but believes that one day she can break it and free them.
Kaya is special in her own way. The woman's soul was shattered through the tribulations of her life. When it shattered she found her abilities came alive. Her chest has a scar in which humans cannot see, but monsters from the other world can. Many have questioned how the woman is even alive. Some of them keep her around to experiment and learn more from her. She was able to hone them and control them after years of practice. Although she still from time to time ends up in another realm by simply sleeping. She has traveled through different timelines and even different worlds where most would panic, but she is far to use to it for it to bother her. The woman has no fear of death. She has been placed in situations that would kill others, but she comes out alive.
During her travels through the void and different realms (Universes) she has noticed that there are more than just the typical monsters. Creatures of the void have tried to kill her and even keep her there. In those battles she found a protector. A shape shifting beast with a skull for a face. The creature transfers into any animal creature and guides her when need. She has also realized it is a part of her in some way. When in the normal human world she is able to bring the beast, but none can see it other than the monsters in the other world. Who seem to be very wary of the creature and the woman with the shattered soul.

I love to write and role play in general so yeah the faster the better so any option can work. Hmm time line wise I can do past present future alt a mix of either of them. Sorry if that doesn't help but if you have a preference for time line I am game for about anything.
