At a young age Moriko was living in the remote area of Takigakure with her parents until a business leader named Tora was known for being ruthless and deceitful to the people of the shinobi world and the normal citizens by using gangs, money, and corruption. The business leader needed to make an example for those who were thinking of going against his control - Moriko's father was one of the defenders of their village and she watched while her father was killed in front of the entire village.
Since then Moriko has stopped believing in people and although she lives in Konohagakure with her aunt and uncle she doesn't seem to be able to make friend's because of the pain she was still trying to accept. She wouldn't get over the pain of losing her father so she would pour herself into basic training and joined Konohagakure's academy to become a shinobi so she would be able to change her own fate - so if given the situation that she would be able to stand up to someone like Tora, and be a person of strength, patience, and understanding.
Moriko was placed in team 18 and met Akira Hyuuga and Tamaki Ueno at the age of 14 and developed lasting bonds with both of them. They quickly climbed the ranks of the shinobi military and even though they have gone down different paths they still find time now and then to catch up even though they no longer see each other in person. With technology getting more advanced it makes staying in touch even easier for the shinobi of the modern world. Moriko becomes an instructor at the Konohagakure academy along with Iruka and Kurenai to teach the young minds of Konoha the way of the shinobi while training her own squad of newly established shinobi for the new generation.
Years later, at a festival her aunt and uncle revealed Tamaki's feelings to Moriko and that they should be cherished and not forsaken by the thoughts in her mind. They explained that emotions like love should be sacred but if her heart wasn't resonating with her in the same way that she should explain it to them in a way that they would understand. This was the main focus of Moriko's meeting with Tamaki after his return to the village.
The only thing on his mind for a long time was seeing Moriko smile for the first time. That was why he traveled so much - he was getting work and saving for a home and a life with Moriko. However, he knew that the chances of her accepting were slim, and he only had one opportunity to gain her acceptance. Moriko was focusing on training her young shinobi squad fresh from the academy at this time.
She managed to pass the qualifying exam to become a Jonin ninja, and applied as a sensei for a group of children that were struggling to practice their ninjutsu and taijutsu. While Moriko struggled with this herself as a young shinobi she hoped that she would be able to make a difference in these young children's lives. Moriko demonstrated the lessons that were already in the academy but with her own method of teaching them hands-on and visually explaining for those that learned with visual representation like she did.

Well, I have this potential arc for Kaori that takes her into a pandemic type scenario. Basically only certain Nin get the disease. It's wasting like leprosy for example. Instead of losing a limb or whatever and that being that, there is a way to preserve a person's chakra in the original shape of an arm or leg or whatever. Then through obscure arts of somekind the victim's chakra is contained in some kind of magical wrap or perhaps even some kind of "cybernetic" limb or something like that. I'm just conjuring up ideas but I kinda like what's going on here... needs more time to cook tho LOL Ultimately the only thing this would do for a character is basically just give them more character, nothing out of the norm like super strengh or anything like that, just something cosmetically cool I guess.
I am willing to write with you and discuss a potential storyline; however, I will be as honest with you as I am with everyone else. If you plan to stop writing after the second reply or constantly change characters [that would force us to stall or change our entire rp] I would rather not do so. I am focused on the world and character building of my character these days.

OOC: After reading our bio, I have come to the conclusion that the Chunin Exams you perticipated in is the same one Boruto perticipated in. If we do something after that, Arashi will be 36 and a Jonin. Perfect for us to work on a mission together, but I'm not sure on what kind, or if more of your team should be included.
