Born into a very powerful ancient wiccan bloodline and under the new moon, Karu held great talent for magic and was very gifted at a young age. Rumors began to spread around neighboring towns and soon her and her family were being hunted. She was only five when her world went up in smoke and her parents gave their lives to protect her. Years past and she was adopted by a wandering traveler that held knowledge of the gods and goddess of her craft and she learned how to get in touch with her goddess. He taught her many skills to go along with her magic and when she turned 18 she began to look into the ones that killed her parents. This put her on a dangerous path, and she soon took on assassination jobs as she got closer to her answers. One night while on a job with her partner in crime they were discovered, and she was fatally wounded protecting her partner. Unable to see the woman he looked up too as a big sister he took her to an Elder Vampire that he knew. He begged the Elder to save his sister by any means necessary, however she was too far gone and there was only one way that he could save her.
Without warning her world went dark and when she awoke, she felt pain she had never felt before. However, the Elder Vampire too great interest in his new child of the night, she was unlike any of her kind, she not only was able to still use her powers when she was a human witch but still held part of her humanity. This intrigued him and together they spend the next year putting her through some of the painful training. She learned to control the hunger and could go months without needing to feed. She also learned how to control the powers she gained as a vampire and mix them with her powers as a witch. This allowed her to use her magic to place a glamour spell over her appearance, so she looked the way she did when she was human. She hated her new look when she was reborn and very few have seen it and most didn’t live long enough to ask any questions. One night the Elder called her to him and decided that he had lived long enough and wanted to grant her the powers he held. Once this ritual was complete, she went through a slight transformation and cried as she watched him walk into the morning light.
It wasn’t until he was nothing more than a pile of ash, that she realized the sun didn’t affect her. Something in her snapped, she was tired of losing those that she would finely let get close to her. For centuries she roamed the earth and left destruction in her wake, she killed whenever and whoever she wished. Anyone that crossed her path was a target and extremely few people were able to call her an acquaintance let alone a friend. As time past she became numb to the pain of her past and drinking in bars became a favorite past time to kill time when she decided to stay in one place for a while. She held many different titles over the course of her lifetime, Goddess of Chaos, Queen of Vampires, Mistress of the night, and others that she no long could recall. About a decade ago she was visiting one her favorite local bars and the scent and aura of a certain individual caught her attention. This is when she crossed paths with Lucifer, the Devil himself. But that is a tale for another time…..
