Alahina, the Land of Youth. Nima Ainar did not always live there, but found her existence thrown into the world by the identity of her parents. Surely a half-elf would be met with ridicule in the human world, so well known for its lack of acceptance and welcoming to the things they don't know. Nima was quickly put to use, her fighting skills quickly taking notice and her abilities being nothing to shy away from. But she didn't want to be a part of the royal army, a position quickly offered to her in the late years of her teen-life, and found solace in other areas.
The king at the time did not take kindly to this news and tried to force her hand, doing everything he could to place Nima as a member of his ranks. From bribery, to guilt, to bargaining, to threatening, he tried every rule in the book. Still, Nima declined. The king saw this unwillingness as a threat and cast her out of the land of Alahina, condemned to live with humans for a great many years. But she did not complain, the human world was rather fascinating once one got used to it.
She soon was allowed to return to the kingdom and gave them her documentation of the human world, listing their advancements for research and even bringing some of the technology into their world. They made changes to it and advanced alongside the human world. Her discoveries were deemed highly valuable and, before long, it was her assigned duty to take scout the human world regularly and keep tabs on them.
Soon, that king retired. And in his place rose another, one Nima found she could trust and serve well. Under his guidance, she would fight when needed.
