Tuka Luna Marceau was born in the Koan Forest Village of Kowan. For most of her young life she had lived in this forest. She was a member of the High Elf race. This particular race of elves kept mostly to themselves, and were considered a rare sight. Even with an elder local wizard having known so little about her or her people. What was known was that they strayed away from the affairs of men, and were considered to be potentially immortal, or at least would live for centuries, if not thousands of years.
For an elf, she is still considered rather young, with the human equivalent of her early 20s, though she has lived to be 165 standard years, and lived in relative peace with her father, Hodor Marceau, and an unnamed younger sister.
Her peaceful life would be short lived. During the Sederan Civil War, and the subsequent arrival of a mysterious new army, a powerful beast known as a Flame Dragon began to ravage the nearby kingdom. And with that, her village was one of the first to fall. At the initial attack, Tuka was awoken by her father in the early hours of the morning, in an effort to escape the oncoming flames of this massive beast. However, the village around them was completely engulfed in fires by the time they made it passed the first few homes. Even with the Elven militia putting up a fight, the dragon decimated the defense in seconds, and laid waste to the surrounding village, and in doing so trapping Tuka and her father. Hodor saw no other means of escape and would have to resort to finding themselves a hiding spot if they were to survive. But, the only place safe enough would only fit one person, that being a small well, deep enough to keep the fire and heat away from incinerating her. Without a second though, Hodor threw his daughter in the well and would soon perish in the flames.
Miraculously, Tuka survived both the fires and the Flame Dragon's assault and would wake within the company of the mysterious army whom traveled from a distant world via a gateway. And she would find herself face to face with the dragon once more. Even if she couldn't understand her rescuer's odd language, she desperately tried to tell them the dragon's only main weak spot, and finally they were able to decipher her words. The military that saved her managed to drive off the dragon after severely injuring it with a high yield explosive, the likes of which she had never seen, and since then she stuck by their side. Eventually she would grow to learn their language, befriend the one whom saved her, negotiate peace between the mysterious government, and would follow them and their efforts to stop a devastating war between them and the Sederan Empire.
Tuka is generally shy, reserved and easily panics in dangerous situations. But she is also excitable and cheery once she gets comfortable around new friends. Upon her father's death, she became dangerously unstable and was on the verge of a total mental breakdown, as she was in absolute denial of her father's death. In order to hide from the horrific truth, she convinced herself that her father never truly died, only that he had gone on one of his many expeditions. Even if this might have put her mind at ease, her subconscious was slowly being eaten away, and it would take her newfound friends, and a rematch against the Flame Dragon to finally settle down, and accept her father's true fate.
While she might not be physically strong, Tuka is an avid archer with a keen eye. This is however commonplace with most of the Elves that reside within the world. On top of her skills as an archer, she is also capable of conjuring a small assortment of spells, including the ability to lure large groups of people to sleep. This spell became especially helpful in order to infiltrate the massive trade town of Italica in order to rescue one of her close friends.
