Astaroth is described simply as a deceiver who wins humans over through laziness, manipulation, and seduction. He holds knowledge and intellectual pursuits above all else and does not suffer fools lightly. He is known to appear as extremely truthful, seemingly answering any question without hesitation, and takes great pride in describing the creation story and how he fell from grace.
If he chooses to share more of his demonic-like appearance, he will be seen with a snake on or around his person. His personality may best be described as arrogant and playful, often being likened to a feline that toys with its prey. The game is more fun than the result and so many see him as less than evil.

Is said to possess knowledge of the past, present, and future as well as a wealth of knowledge in all things human. Can grant the power over serpents to those he deems worthy. Can make men invisible and show them great treasures that equate to whatever the heart desires most.
