Legends speak of a time when men would disappear along a forest path at night in the dead of winter, they’d come upon a poor young mother. She was dressed in only a thin, white kimono, and desperately clutched her newborn baby to her chest. Seeing whoever crossed her path, her face lit up with hope and she held out her baby to them, begging for help. But they must harden their heart and walk away from this tragic scene—for if they took the offered baby, they would be frozen to the spot, trapped; a fresh meal for the Yuki Onba and her terrible little offspring, the Yukinko.
After investigation, the Yuki Onba was vanquished forever by the elite ninja of the village but the Yukinko being an infant was pitied and by request of the Kage he was to be raised here in the village with caution. Because of his special vengeful ghost breath technique he could not be sent away and only the village could help him be raised as a true shinobi with a promising future… but would he accept that path when he realizes the truth of his past?
onryō kokyu doesn’t require any hand signs unlike his other jutsu. Its freezing temperatures are components beyond that of the living and can kill someone instantly but it depletes Inko’s energy and to restore his energy he has to completely devour the victim. To avoid depleting his energy he never uses the ghost breath to its entire potential. He utilizes it enough to leave his victim somewhat stable, still breathing with the faintest of heartbeats. His ice release kekkai genkai is feared because of the way he uses it to manipulate the frozen “corpses” they call them, although they’re still very much alive and he’s able to manipulate his victims chakra. The bodies are usually kept in scrolls that he carries with him. He’s a very skilled jonin level puppeteer.
