Hayden Vahl Fahlan
Second prince of the descended Kingdom of Fahlan, Hayden Vahl Fahlan was the product of truce between nations. Last son of the widowed Fahlan king, firstborn of the Lady knight that once commanded within the very army that shared years of blood spilled upon both parties soils. A union formed for the sole purpose of ending this conflict, only to give way to plights the young prince could never prepare for. In exchange for land and resources, the rival Kingdom of Avalis gave Haydenโs mother to the king as both bride and mentor in ways of the battlefield. Naturally, there was relative peace in the land for time, though there was also a clear shift in power within Fahlan.
With the new Queen present, her superiority over the king bled into both family and court, training Hayden and his two elder sibling in ways of sword and magic as well as gaining the favor of Fahlanโs lesser lords and its people. This left the King with nothing but resentment for all that he felt tarnished his name; and so began the Kingโs conquest to regain power over his land. Seeking the help of the only being he could fathom that harbored the necessary means to aid him in ruling over those that no longer had fealty towards him alone; Denixens of descent, or simply demons to those of common knowledge, would be called upon.
In order to obtain power from these Denixens, one must form a pact with them by means of sacrifice of varying degrees. The kings first sacrifice came in the form of Haydenโs sight, stripping him of the natural sense entirely. This was, of course, kept a well hidden secret, claiming that the young prince had simply been stricken with a disease of foreign origin. After this took place, Haydenโs mother would detach from her political role in order to focus on the child absent of sight, and so she ventured away from Fahlanโs mainland with Hayden and his sister, Lorelle. It was during this time traveling that Hayden would learn to live with his disability in a land rampant with swords and magic. The primary focus of this journey, however, was teaching the prince a mystical arte that would make any need for sight obsolete.
The progress made on this journey led to mostly fruitful results, as an older Hayden now had the necessary skills to function almost effortlessly. However joyous the product of the families effort may had been, it was also in that time that it was revealed to the Queen how her sons sight was stripped from him. With this knowledge at hand, though kept secret, and both Hayden and his sister being properly seasoned sword mages, it was time to return and confront the King.
Upon returning to the kingdom, nothing had been as it once was. The land was run barren, its people starved and brittle, and the majority reigning over the city were ominous things;former occupants of The Descent. Met within the confines of the kingdom with hostility, the three fought their way towards the main castle, only to be halted by the Denixen that the king initially enlisted accompanied by Haydenโs brother, Crowen, as well as a slew of demonic beings at their command. The kingโs overzealous desire for reclaiming power led to he himself being claimed and removed by beings beyond his control. And so a battle between the Queen and this powerful demon began, leaving Hayden and Lorelle to face their elder brother and the horde of demonic soldiers at his command. As the conflict raged on, Crowen would explain that their fathers fate was a product of his weakness, and that he would rule the land while the Denixens may lay claim on whatever else they so pleased.
Though they fought valiantly, the siblings would not be able to face Crowen and the reign of insidious beings that followed, forcing them to flee at the Queens behest. Reluctantly leaving their mother behind, the two fled while Crowen along gave chase. The journey of defeat was just as difficult as the initial confrontation, leading to more conflicts with the eldest sibling and unforgettably, the loss of Lorelle at the end of Crowens blade; the first half of his pact was complete. With the Queenโs fate most certainly set in the stone of the end, the only ones of Fahlan royalty left were the two half-brothers.
Years have past since the descent of the Fahlan Kingdom, the first few being spent grieving with the loss of his most loved ones, while the others were spent further honing himself for the inevitable strife that comes with his birthright. Still hunted by his brother as Hayden travels across foreign lands under the guise of a sword for hire, the former prince of Fahlan struggles with what fate he wishes to grasp on a path his eyes cannot see.
Tactioception Mage
Abilities
Tactioception Artes: A rare form of magical prowess, Tactioception is a form of magic that allows the user to augment the properties of their mana through physical contact(primarily through touch) in order to produce various spells depending on what was contacted. This particular artes potency is based on the users sense of touch.
Mana Lens: A passive magical arte allows the user to see the flow of mana around them. Hayden uses this skill in order to obtain some semblance of sight as he is blind. It is by no means perfect in its application of vision, but it helps distinguish the surrounding and those that occupy it. Very useful in day to day use, combat, and tracking.
Mana Ignition: This skill is a common arte among those that use tactiocepton, allowing them to ignite their mana and unleash it in a variety of ways. The go-to application of this for Hayden is through arrow-like bolts and direct contact strikes that add power to his physical attacks.
Elemental Drive: A multifaceted arte that allows the user to create spells by coming into contact with the elements. The spells cast with this arte of often simplistic, but can be augmented heavily depending on the amount of mana used as well as the amount of said element available to the users disposal.
Sovereign Arcane: The most powerful arte in Haydenโs arsenal, the Sovereign Arcane is an arte that drains the user of all of their mana, and in turn gives them access to the full extent of their mana and its destruction power for a brief period of time. Once the arte is finished, the user is unable to draw mana from any source for a period of time, and often leads to them going unconscious. It can be dispelled prior to its depletion, though the amount of mana returned to the user isnโt worth enough to ever consider doing unless the situation is truly dire.

Physical Description: Hayden is a has a slender physique, though built muscularly to near peak for someone of his stature. One key trait to be noted is that Hayden is technically blind, only gaining sight through the mana naturally flowing throughout the world(More details in abilities). There are a number of scars engraved on his hands fingers from arduous training.
Typical Clothing/Equipment: Hayden is often dressed in the formal uniform for the prince of his former kingdom(as shown in photos). Hayden is almost never without his blade scepter attached to the belt on his hip. The blade his four slots in the hilt with various stones attached for casting augmented spells.
Personality
Personality/Attitude: Hayden is a kind, but reserved individual. Being humbled by his upbringing in the less fortunate side of the Fahlan Kingdom, he grew to understand both the good and bad sides of people. While both astute and vigilant in his interactions with others, his demeanor contradicts this ethic in the sense that he tends to cater to those in need in a somewhat subservient fashion; regularly finding himself in difficult situations because of his desire to assist others. Despite his abundance of kindness, he is no stranger to deviancy. This is, however, more tailored to violence than anything else.

Rules
I'll do my best to keep this as simple as possible.
1. I'm willing to roleplay any length, so long as it is not one-liners. That said, the longer the writing length is, the longer it may take me to respond. The one behind the Blind Prince is quite the busy individual.
2. I am always in character, even spoken to out of character. Please, and I cannot stress this enough, do not pester me with this. Despite this hobby chosen, I'm not the most sociable person in reality.
3. Don't control my character please. Unless it is something ineviand outside the realm of GM'ing).
4.Only very story driven smut please.
