It's getting harder to fall asleep, let alone stay asleep. The void is becoming more persistent. It will whisper its desires in her head, the ways it will bring ruin to the universe if she were to release it from the prison in her mind. It keeps her pacing the floor of her chambers, distracts her from council meetings with her advisors, leaves her wandering through her city without a care for those who greeted her with a bow. All she could think about were ways to silence the void. end yourself, and f r e e m e,it whispered.
herald of the void
ismiel knows no peace. every waking moment is disrupted by the grim whisperings of the primordial being she hosts; an entity which represents the a cosmic void/ spacial emptiness. it is a natural force of her home universe, an agent of entropy. she has been wandering the multiversal cosmos thanks to carefully crafted magicks, searching for the places in which a version or agents of her void exists, seeking to eliminate factors that would lead to one universe's particular end. whether it was to delay the inevitable or truly prevent a cosmic cataclysm, she could no longer tell at this point.
history
she has family, in a galaxy far , far away. one enmeshed in a history of war and civil turmoil, with many members either deceased or missing. she and her kin are members of a hybrid race between angelic creatures and humanoid beings from another distant planet. this granted them many traits, such as an affinity for a natural element, as well as a divine essence called ohr. ohr is housed in a different plane of existence, but is able to be expelled outside of herself. this essence physically manifests as a plasmatic energy, akin to liquid fire. Like many of her other family members, the bioconstruct that houses this essence takes a certain form within the psyche. in ismiel's case, her ohrrealm resembles a never-ending hallway with countless doors. this made her the ideal vessel for the void.
once, the void existed outside of herself, within the primeval plane. but her father, in an attempt to control a natural aspect of their reality, captured it and its essence within a vessel. using a lengthy ritual, the void was transferred from its prison to another, changing her life the moment it was sealed away within her mind. she has been plagued with visions of the end times ever since.
PRESENT
ismiel wanders the universe with the aid of her brother's magical knowledge, a treasure trove of mystical tomes left behind when one of her closest siblings disappeared without a trace. this knowledge expanded the horizons of her mission, a personal objective that she assigned herself; if aspects of the void โโextreme corruption, death, decayโโ existed elsewhere beyond her own dimension, and she carried its heart, it was her duty to combat and defeat it back into the shadows. and one day, maybe she can find her brother alive and well.
CAPABILITIES
metal manipulation: ismiel wields power over various metals, such as iron, steel, magnesium, titanium, etc. if itโs a metal in its molecular composition, she can manipulate it; change its state of matter, control its shape and density, as well as create metal of any kind from the quicksilver that naturally seeps from her skin.
ohr manipulation:ohr is the physical manifestation of the otherworld, divine energy that only those with her angelic heritage have access to. it is projected onto the physical realm in the form of plasmatic energy, and in ismiel's case she can change its matter states; liquid, solid, and gas. it is a malleable essence, essentially manipulatable energy. nearly only a fraction of the raw power that the divine realm holds. to living beings not of her race, ohr will act as a virus/corrosive element, eating away at the biological matter of whoever comes in contact with it.
void manipulation: cosmic darkness, the beginning and the end. the metaleptic void, an ancient entity of entropy and death from her home universe, was forced into her prison of a mind in order to control an aspect of their reality, a decision made with familial responsibility and filled with regret. with time, she has learned to live beside it, thus granting her heightened extrasensory perception, resistance against physical attacks and ability to control tendrils of the voidโs power. on the physical plane, it manifests in the form of viscous tar that seems to shimmer with a prismatic glint; upon closer inspection, stars would glitter within the deep black tar. but if one becomes voidtouched, i.e. her making physical contact with an opponent's body, a portion of them would be eaten away in an instantaneous moment, leaving behind a bloody, gaping hole where flesh once was.
angelic physiology: ismiel's wings, although still attached to her body, reside within a separate dimension from the physical, visible only by her and those of her bloodline. it is the same dimension that she draws her ohr from. if she wills it, they can be pulled into the physical plane and manifest as luminescent, plasmatic wings, twelve foot span from wingtip to wingtip. the depths of her reserves scale in relation to the danger level around her. meaning, she will draw more and more ohr to increase her physical strength and durability and start expelling it in charged, plasmatic beams, seemingly without end. however, this of course consumes vital energy, so eventually the void will intervene to prevent herself from going supernova. (obviously, DON'T get her to this point.) aside from this, she can perform acts that most creatures would view as acts of divinity; flight, light-speed agility, heal her own superficial wounds in seconds and grave ones within minutes... just to name a few.

My understanding entirely, looks and appeal are all grand but without the meat and potatoes, so to speak, it ain't worth much. Glad to see another fellow multiverse hopping OC, Senou is also fond of leaping between the realms. For what purposes well.. that's where the fun comes in.
