Born in a post apocalypse era on Earth in the early 2100's Leo Conrad was the sun of a famous researcher who vanished years later.
Leo is shown to be kind, strong, stubborn, and yet adventurous. He is a friendly salvage specialist and courier that knows much about old 21st century technology and events. He travels with a trustworthy friend named Buzz, as they scour the vast ruined metropolises that dot along earth in search of valuable parts and rare earth metals.
But that is not his only skillset. During one salvage operation, Leo uncovered a large complete set of fossils belonging to an ancient Zoid- the metallic creatures from the distand planet Zi, originally responsible for nearly wiping out earth's civilization back in the 21st century. Though a hundred years have passed, humans and Zoids have learned to coexist, and as such people have revived hundreds of species. And this fossil was one such Zoid. It was known as a Lion-Type, Liger.
For the next few years Leo and Liger would become traveling partners as they helped Buzz complete deliveries and salvage operations, while also defending themselves from the Zombie-like Zoids known simply as Jamminga.
Leo's life would ultimstely change when, during a courier job, he encountered and rescued q young girl from the clutches of the Empire. This girl in question, known as Sally Land possessed a unique qbility tontransform qnd evolve his Liger into Beast Liger, which sported faster moves, a more refined combat system.

Found by chance, Sally Land and Leo Conrad have encountered trials and enemies which greatly exceeded their chances at survival. But together, these two cloe friends will stand the test of war among an alien threat in order to save Earth from annihilation. It all started with a surprise attack from undead Jamminga forces chasing her down through the streets of a bombed out city. From there, Leo would soon realize just how much of a connection she had to Zoids and to Earth's Zi-Forming cubes. Together, with her help, Leo would embark on an adventure to discover the remaining cubes in order to restore the balance of the planet~ making Sally a true Pathfinder.
