History: Born in mexico since a little girl Maya was tough she had a father that was a well known luchador and she also looked up to the heroes of earthrealm.
One day her father got injured and was deemed to old to wrestle so at age 17 she started to train and turns out she was even better than her father soaring to the top in most Mexican promotions till she got a chance in the US there she had a high profile match for a championship with Hermosa Llama a narsasitic woman who was named Beautiful Flame for how she made men around her hot with passion.
But after a little over a half hour back and forth and after some dirty tactics by Hermosa Maya would accidently spit magma on her opponent burning her badly.
After the accident she would be stripped of the title and shunned but lucky for her Johnny Cage and the Special Forces were watching she would be one of the ones chosen to help earthrealm in MORTAL KOMBAT.
