Basic background: Fran is a Viera from Eruyt Village in Golmore Jungle; home to the Viera who protect the forest and the wood in which it resides, believing the home to be connected to the forest itself. Wanting to break free from the traditions of guardian of the forest, Fran left her village and obtained personal freedom but it was at the cost of her natural talents as a Viera, such as being able to speak with the wood of her home. That left her being viewed as an outcast by the rest of the village, and though she sometimes misses her home, family and past, she is happy to be able to travel the world with her newfound freedom.
