Minato Kururugi (枢木みちる) is the male version of the main character in the video game The Secret of the Cursed Mask. He has the mysterious and incredible powers of the Shikigami, which come down to the four elements: fire, water, wind, and light. Animal symbols for his elemental attacks also exist.
The game begins when Minato enters the family storage shed in modern-day Japan to retrieve an item for father. After falling through a mysteriously etched pentagram on the floorboards, the player is transported to Feudal Japan. Unfortunately, the villagers mistake the time traveler as a demon and attack. After several close calls, Minato comes face to face with Inuyasha, who notices the stranger's clothes "look like Kagome's."
After introductions with the rest of the cast, the player begins to search for answers as to why Minato has been brought back to the feudal era and how to get home. The game progresses as any normal InuYasha storyline, with the InuYasha group traveling from village to village in pursuit of Naraku (and Minato's answers), sometimes helping out with a local problem or two. Occasionally traces to Naraku himself are revealed, as well as leads to Minato's mystery and the title's "cursed mask," which holds secrets to returning the character to the present. Along the way, Minato to harness the power of shikigami from a mysterious old villager called Kakuju, a force needed in order to help Inuyasha and the others overcome the dangerous obstacles ahead while unraveling the plot of the mystic Utsugi.
// Oh man...My only experience with seizures was when a classmate of mine that was seated next to me had a seizure. I didn't know what was going on at the time though, but he made it. I'm sorry to hear that about you giving the game away though. Before the BoS...makes sense, to me! I couldn't remember how long ago into the series that InuYasha learned the Backlash Wave. God, it's been way too long...So much nostalgia though...I wish I was little again. I was about 11 or 12 when I discovered InuYasha on Midnight Toonami (or adult swim). Haha, Makes sense. Off to messages we go then!
// Man, who wouldn't? That was a game I WISH I had back when I was a kid. I'm so glad my neighbor/ friend let me play around with the game at his place since I wanted to try different scenarios. I was disappointed Kouga wasn't an option, BUT I didn't complain too much. LOL! I would say, in a way, that both Kaname and Michiru both are canon since (if I remember right) the video game takes place before or after the Band of Seven. I could be wrong though...Discuss? Sure! Wanna discuss it here or in messages? I'm content either way. ^-^
Phew, Finally home...Anyways, hi! How are you doing? I hope all is well on your end, and wow...Cursed Mask...such nostalgia. I never got to own the game, but I played with it at a friend's/ neighbor's house and we had a fun time with it. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who once used Myspace. Good times...I'm jabbering, sorry...ANYWAY! Thanks a million for accepting me! I hope we'll get along very well. We can chit-chat, or we can discuss a role-play - whichever you're in the mood for. I look forward to hearing from you, and I hope you have a wonderful day/ afternoon/ night!
