Cullen Stanton Rutherford Since we’re being barbaric, why not ask for her head on a pike? Never bet against an Antivan in a game of Wicked Grace. Origins I was there for the Fifth Blight and the near collapse of the Circle Tower. I was imprisoned, tortured, and forced to watch as my fellow Templars were slaughtered. It was then, I realized even Templars fail to see how dangerous mages can be. Kirkwall Following the events of the Circle Tower, when I had recovered and returned to duties, I announced to Knight-Commander Greagoir of my desire to watch over the mages with a strict enforcement of the Chantry's Rule. Unsettled by my zealous vision, he sent me to Kirkwall to serve under Knight-Commander Meredith. We shared the same views about mages and through hard work and dedication, I rose through the ranks, quickly earning the title, Knight-Captain. But Meredith became mad with power after being exposed to Red Lyrium. She ordered the execution of The Champion of Kirkwall and began to question the loyalty of the Templars, including mine. My duty as a Templar was to protect the good citizens and mages from the destruction and madness that magic can cause, even if it meant defying my superior to do what is right. With the Chantry destroyed and Meredith's defeat, the start of the Mage-Templar war would begin. Inquisition Cassandra Pentaghast of the Seekers reached out to me during the building of The Inquisition after the destruction of The Enclave. I was placed as Commander to oversee the Inquisition Army. While I was still wary of mages, I became more forgiving and open-minded of them, especially those who came to help during the ongoing war. Mages such as Solas, Dorian, and Vivienne helped me gain a better insight on the struggles of being a mage with their individual stories the more time I spent with them in Haven and Skyhold. I'm still wary of mages as my own personal experiences are proof of how dangerous they can be, but thanks to good mages, however curious their abilities may be; I am reminded constantly that most of them simply want to live and let live.

Rather, you are still very much alive after our last run in. Excellent work on that, my friend. For how long, I wonder. . . ah, but that is neither here nor there. I'm certain you couldn't have forgotten my face, hm? After all, my companions and I saved you from the little mess you and your ilk failed to prevent. A shame, really. I quite liked my small expedition into the Fade. So many beautiful men and women! I am wounded to relive the memory. But enough of me, good ser, I came to see if you would humor me in a little adventure. I cannot guarantee your life would not be in danger, but I can guarantee you will enjoy the chaos all the same. I’m happy to write post-Inquisition if that is more your style; is it safe to assume you’ve played through the Trespasser DLC? If so, we can have a sort of meet-up after the Inquisition forced disbandment. It’s just a little something to throw out off the top of my head; you’re welcome to put forth any ideas of your own.
