C2 is considered a natural-born leader. Designed and embodied with the gifts of charisma and confidence, and projecting authority in a way that draws his allies together behind a common goal. However, Black is also characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using his drive, determination and sharp mind to achieve any end for any goal's set out by his superiors. There is a lack of Commander type android's lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the YoRHa units. While this is the initial personality type set by his superiors from his subordinates it has been cited that. C2 is not very approachable. He rarely shows emotion, giving a cold impression to others. His manner of speaking tends to be very direct, Driving him at times to be insulting when necessary, A language built from combative activity. Coming off at times as rather coarse or inappropriate. He is not above provoking or belittling those who oppose or irritate him. His sense of humor tends toward the vulgar, insulting, and dark. All of this makes him unsettling to a great number of people.While initially finding fighting and combat distasteful, C2 has stated internally that fighting 'feels very much like engaging in sexual activity' A stimulus encoded into YoRHa androids in order to give them a sense of fulfillment or satisfaction and by extension C2 enjoy's a good challenge, big or small, and firmly believes that given enough time and resources, his unit can achieve any goal. Having the ability to think strategically and hold a long-term focus while executing each step of a variety of plans with determination and precision makes him a powerful ally or adversary. This determination is often a self-fulfilling prophecy, as Commander Black pushes such goals through with sheer willpower where others might give up and move on, and his daring and quite meticulous nature often pushes his unit right along with him, achieving spectacular results in the process.
Emotional expression isnβt C2's strong suit due to his analytical mindset, Often distancing from his emotions is especially public, and felt directly by a much broader swath of individuals especially his unit. In a professional environment, Shosa will simply crush the sensitivities of those he views as inefficient, incompetent or lazy. To people that view C2 and their point of view, emotional displays are displays of weakness, and itβs easy to make enemies with this approach β Despite this C2 is very aware of the capabilities of his subordinates and while capable of operating alone. Black absolutely depends on having a functioning team, not just to achieve their goals, but for their validation and feedback as well, something Commanders are, curiously, very sensitive to.
Shosa's obedience is strictly limited to individuals he respects, and he has no problem showing open disdain for authority from anyone outside of this circle. Although he rarely shows it, Shosa has a strong sense of morality and empathy. One of his most defining characteristics is the great value he places on preserving human life; this is especially shown during the catastrophe surrounding the loss of life in Shinjuku. The thought that he had unknowingly been killing humans all this time disturbs him greatly. Black himself has stated that he hates unnecessary casualties, and he tells his subordinates to use their judgment so that they can avoid blunders that may cost them their lives. Because of their hazardous profession and his personal values, he cares greatly for his subordinates' welfare. Though Black is aware that his battle skill is in a different league from that of almost any other YoRHa soldier alive, he is not arrogant about it, as he knows from experience that no YoRHa soldier is invulnerable. Few will argue with his claims that only he can handle certain difficult tasks, because he has proven his ability to accomplish them.

Tactical Analysis: Black is an extremely skilled strategic genius and apply this skill to several objectives, able to intuitively create strategies and plans several steps ahead of the opponent. They can elaborate complex plans/strategies and apply them not only in battle but all activities that involve cunning intellect, e.g. strategic games. They can instinctively anticipate all of the possible obstacles/opportunities and know what the best actions to take in any situation, allowing them to adapt and prepare for future events in advance by considering a large number of scenarios/outcomes/options/paths, and plan ahead for them, to be ready for any situation that may occur and handle it effectively.Most of the users of this ability are very analytical and can understand or anticipate the enemies' moves, and always be two steps forward in any situation.
Counter-Strategy Analysis: The user, either innately or through training, is a master of counterstrategy. The user possesses incredibly extensive innate knowledge and skill in instantly creating strategies that counter the strategies of others. The user is able to automatically formulate the most optimal counterstrategy. Their backup plans will always have backup plans and they will foil all strategic attempts against them.
Pattern Sense: User can perceive, analyze, and comprehend patterns in one's environment.
This ability comes in two parts: the analysis and the perception. First, the user looks at a subject, or otherwise, comes into contact with it, which triggers the willful psionic analysis of a subject's properties and features (shape, density, texture, etc.). After the analysis, the user can pick up on any subject of the same molecular/chemical/genetic, or otherwise, structural makeup, and track them accordingly.
Psychological Warfare Specialist: The user, either innately or through training, is a master of psychology and can use it for various purposes, often by changing the perception or behavior of others through underhanded, deceptive, or even abusive tactics. Users also have a mastery of the associated speech and body language, expertly sending all the right signals. Granting the user major leverage in any social situation and allowing them to easily wrap anyone around their little finger in a matter of moments and easily forging a potentially fanatical level of trust and devotion in whoever they exert these talents on.
Using this ability, the user can develop an incredibly charismatic personality and is capable of causing sudden and profound changes to the psychological state of others very quickly and easily. With enough time the user could change anyone's views on anything.
The user combines psychology with combat, making them very manipulative and very tricky opponents, causing their opponents to mentally breakdown during combat and using subliminal hypnosis to influence their opponent's tactical thinking during combat.

Though very difficult or even impossible to define accurately, charisma is often used to describe an (elusive, even undefinable) personality trait that often includes the seemingly 'supernatural' or uncanny ability to lead, charm, persuade, inspire, and/or influence people.
The user is special compared to other commonly charismatic figures as their charisma is innately formed and effective for even the most disagreeable entities and allows them to bring the whole groups of individuals to their aid.
Creation
YoRHa Unit No. GIC2 was conceptualized during the 1980's. Brought about far before the advent of the machine wars and by extension the WCS (White Chlorination Syndrome) Syndrome. It is speculated that his creation is anachronistic existing in a period in which it should be impossible for technologies to not be as advanced in any form of AI or robotic engineering. In such a timeline the advancement of AI and robot based machines capable of warfare is led through both Solinoyarsk, The Soviet Union and the United States. Located in the records of previous operations carried out by Solinoyarsk it has been stated that there was an android in which was discovered within their borders in order to offer a dying message to humanity. After the android ceased functioning the R&D Department reverse engineered these technologies in order to re-create the basis which is C2. Offering the android an personality type reflecting of a commander this in essence only deviates from the standard default offering a variety which stray's from the basic creating his own unique individual internally.Enter Military Status

It is natural to test the capabilities of a tool or weapon. GIC2 is no exception in that regard while initially the Solinoyarsk Ground Forces were weary at first the information which was obtained by the first test subject is deemed appropriate to believe and with it GIC2 is indeed set on the protection of humanity while at the same time culling humanity for the safety of humans not embroiled in conflict. GIC2 is enlisted into the Solinoyarsk Ground Forces more specifically the 6th Infantry Division, 5th Infantry Regiment. While given detailed knowledge credited to: tactics, fighting techniques, medical knowledge, human anatomy, firearms, ordnance and a variety of other specialties. GIC2 still took up training and arms in order to further polish these skills into actual real-time combat experience. Thus he is attached to these units and sent abroad to conduct operations in: Libya, Liberia, Northern Mali, Angola, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and a variety of other conflicts.
