Once upon a time, there was a young boy who dreamed to become a Knight just like his Heroes of Midgard. Like his Father and Grandfather before them, the boy strived to be a proud knight just like them. " I wish to become a Knight and protect all my friends! " The Boy said with such determination. Ten years Later, the Boy whom is now a Proud and Honorable Knight of Rune Kingdom. Seyren Windsor. The young inspiring knight was well known for his acts of heroism and the good deeds he does for his people. Always helping those in need of assistance. Once he took part in a Raid with his trustworthy comrades and took down the vicious Corrupted Knights and saved the Kingdom, thus he and his allies were dubbed as Heroes of Midgard. His dreams of becoming a Hero had come to completion! However such days would have to come to an end someday.
One day the King of Ishgard had assigned Seyren and his friends to investigate the Lighthalzen Abandoned Island in the Far North. Rumors have it, Children had gone missing and were taken there to take part in inhumane experiments. Seyren accepted the quest and went to gather his friends, and together they went to the North on a journey. As they made it to the location they found something eerie about this Island. No sign of Life of People. There were a few creatures here and there but not the horrors the Group would find once they ventured deeper into the Labs. To their horror, the scene was terrifying and saddening. The lives of the children were lost and not a single identity could be identified. The Deeper they went, they found themselves lured into a Trap, and were forced to fight their way out with an onslaught of experimental creatures coming after them. After a long gauntlet of enemies, they finally met the Crazy Scientist named Wolfchev. Upon discovering this man's plans and his actions, the room was gassed and one by one everyone begins to fall, Seyren and his comrade were in arms, Eremes both tried to resist but they learned they fell into a trap and finally they lost consciousness.
Seyren eventually woke up, finding himself in a Lab, unsure what transpired, he would go looking for his friends and sadly he found a few of them but they weren't themselves and begin to become aggressive and tried to initially attack him. Feeling hopeless he was forced to flee and eventually found Margaret his childhood friend, together they tried to flee the Underground Catacombs but everywhere they go, They always run into their Hostile allies. Until finally, they found Eremes, who explained to them, they can't escape, they can't leave. As they aren't human anymore. Seyren didn't understand and seeing Eremes is about to transform into a hostile entity, he informed them, the Scientist had experimented on all Six of them, and their hearts are fused with some kind of Fragment of Ymir, which makes them beings known as Draugr. And will become hostile to anyone who isn't their kind. Seyren horrified at what he and his friends had become, felt like everything around him was crashing. Margaret and Seyren held onto each other and knowing they will have to accept their fate as they can feel the Malice begin to slowly affect them. Facing the Doctor in the distance, He would immediately rush forward to the Man and attempted to slay him, but at last, he could not bring down his Sword. In shock, he realized he has no power to do so, as the man smirked at him saying. They are his latest masterpieces and they cannot harm their creator. Seyren growled at him as he admit defeat, going back to Margaret who is about to transform into a Draugr, as he can feel it in himself he glares at the Doctor and stated. " Some day... Someone will come in my place and slay you. I promise you that. You will never get away with this... " Closing his eyes as the last remnants of his own consciousness faded away.
About two weeks had passed since Seyren and his group went missing. Their friends, another group, and the search party went looking for them at Lighthalzen Island, unaware of the horrors that await them and their fate of joining the ranks of the Lost ones. Since then.. the 13 Heroes of Ishgard had not been heard for years after that. Rumors have it though... they still roam somewhere on the island and some had escaped but aren't what everyone remembered them as...
