Sonic's personality has shifted a little to a more mature version. He still has his ego but it's not as inflated as it used to be thanks to how serious the tones are in this game. His voice sounds a tad bit different. Though listening carefully, you can still hear some of his old one.
Even, if it costs him his life, Sonic would do anything to help his friends. An example of this being when he had been corrupted by cyberspace, only to continue walking forward with a smile. Transoporting her there to assist another lost soul, Sonic. Since he's in need of help maintaining his Super Form - it's out of control like you mentioned. She doesn't mind doing so. She seeks him out with the power of her Ergo. She finds him soon and introduces herself. Graciously lends him her aide, along with being his guide during this predictiment.
Despite him being stubborn about it. Like you also mentioned; This could also lead to them being part of some grand adventure!
